Not really, it's glitchy and janky as all hell. What's there to play isn't all that exciting either, at least Postal 4 is a poor man's Postal 2 so there is some value to be had.

Well, yes and no. While RWS did write the original script, when given to TrashMasters, they actually ditched a good chunk of the script with only a handlful of stuff surviving. Trashmasters themselves werent also good at working with the source engine an had a few RWS employs come over and help make the demo for the Russian games con and make the Dudes character model.
 
RWS is just a cucked out shell now doing whatever they can to get money while not pissing off their (surprisingly sizable) tranny section of the fan base. Reminder they removed Fag Hunter from 2 and some random rampage mission in 4 where you had to kill the black NPC that wore a wife beater which was obviously a reference to CJ from San Andreas, but was deemed "too racist/offensive" for the game, and promptly cut after ONE person complained on steam forums. Vince even came out a while back bullshitting about how they weren't being edgy for controversy sake, but instead because "Vince dreamed about making games that weren't for kids since the 80's.", despite the entire marketing of 1 and 2 just being "hey look how edgy, shitty, and offensive my game is!". When they say they won't censor anything for P2 Redux, I won't be surprised if they really mean "we won't censor enough to be noticable to modern fans, but if you've played since the original you WILL notice multiple small gags changed or cut completely."

How many times have we seen companies tried pandering to weirdos and it never pleased anyone in the end? P2 Redux is desperate money-grabbing at this point.

I missed the days when RWS didn't give a shit about other people getting butthurt when they released their first Postal game back in '97.

The ads for 1 were a whole different beast and it blows Vince's claim of not trying to start controversy out of the water. Many ads for it were close ups of people almost like a scene from a documentary talking about how they knew the shooter, I think even one with an old lady that said "he was always such a nice boy."

I'll still always laugh at the "with the unmistakable image of an AK-47", though.
 
I remember the serious wakeup call I got about the indie industry during Postal 4's development.

"You know, the AAA industry sucks, but atleast we'll always have innovative indie studios willing to be offensive."

Then the game released in 2022 and was a mediocre sandbox shooter with no edge that I wasted 40 fucking dollars on.

On a brighter note, It sits on steam with a mixed rating it fucking deserves these days. Official Mod support for it is coming sometime next year.

Brain damaged (made by hyperstrange) is a good game gameplaywise apparently, but it's humor and edge is still fucking shit. The first two bosses are outdated memes referencing Karens and Covid-19.

They released a 3 level epilogue DLC called These Sunny Daze recently for PBD and that's also filled with unfunny outdated memes as well.

The main antagonist and final boss of TSD is a trump stand in and it would be alright if it was actually funny.

DIdnt give a shit so much, that they made Postal 2 a dark comedy, because of the backlash they got afrer Postal 1. So much for "not giving a shit"

To be fair Vince and Mike both have claimed they intended for 1 to have a dark humor vibe. But I also feel it's one of the things they backtracked on, considering when Uwe rewrote the movie to be more in line with 2 (the bigger game of the franchise even at the time) Vince and Uwe both have claimed in interviews they butted heads over making it a violent comedy akin to the second game like Uwe wanted, or a more serious script apparently based off of Taxi Driver that Vince was deadset on.

Ye, I honestly call bull on Postal 1 having dark humor. They're just trying to save face after the media tore them a new ass. I also remember that part, apparently the OG script was so dark and fucked up that Uwe instantly asked they change it. Sure, dude injected a lot of modern German humor into it (I dunno why, but sex and gay jokes were a huge thing in Germany at the time), but still I dread to see the fucked up shit Vince wanted on screen.
 
The unfunny jew is currently sperging out at fans in the RWS discord after they announced a new bullet hell Postal game that clearly has AI artwork as its cover. It's being developed by "Goonswarm Games". Just by looking at their Steam page, you can tell they aren't strangers to using AI and making shitty indie games.

Sorry for the double post, but the game has been cancelled. Yet fans are still angry/disappointed in KikeJ and the seamonkey nigger Pedro. Postal troons are even starting to cry out that Vince Desi is a racist transphobic homophobe :story:

And nothing of value was lost. Less drama & remakes and focus on making good games next time, if there's a next time for RWS at this point.

The whole fanbase is the reason why postal will always be confined to 2 and never move out of its shadow. You need a fanbase that resembles some sort of edginess who will promote your ventures rather than gay retards crying about shit like how russians are make ze postal game!

RWS' start of downfall started when they accepted troons in their fanbase, starting with the removal of my favorite mini-game Fag Hunter for Postal 2. I wish them luck with the Postal 2 Remake, though.
