While doing my yearly playthrough of the games, I've found Postal 3 to be a much better experience than Postal 4. Yeah, it's jankey, full of dumb celeb cameos, but it still takes jabs at politics of the time, something P4 cannot say for itself. Overall P3 is shit, but P4 is just a shitty unreal game that rethreads a LOT of P3's plot points, with none of the edgy bite of the previous games. Postal 4 was literally just postal 3 in first person, even down to making the lethal/non-lethal options a pain in the ass, with the same jobs like "collect cats", but in p4 it's "collect dead pitbulls based off of champ's model and cats".

I mean, ye no duh. P4 was supposed to be a remake of P3 and pretty much bringing the whole "fully open world" part they sold P3 on during various gaming conventions.

I mean, I can polish a turd too, doesn't take much effort. It's just embarrassing they crack on P3 so much despite 4 being a glorified "remake", with stupid shit like the Dude's dad being the end boss. Corey Cruise was 1000x better than Jon St. John, and the fact they had to include every single Dude actor after early access launch because everyone fucking hated it is fucking embarrassing. I mean shit, I saw Rick Hunter as the canon Dude from the beginning, they couldn't have just waited until they could get contact with him? It makes it even better knowing that Mike J himself stated P4 early on was a remake of 2 on one of his shitty streams, something they're now coming back to milk again.

I will say, while the script for P3 was edited by Trashmasters (mostly I think it was the one pyramid scheme guy), but shit like Sarah Pallin, Uwe Boll, Ron Jeremy an etc that was def their shit that more of Western audience would be familiar with.
