In postal 2, you play as P. Dude in Paradise, Arizona. P. Dude never asked to be some disposable pawn in a videogame about killing people, but when fired from his job (for no defined reason) and then assaulted by a bunch of armed video game protestors (this seriously happens, by the way) he learns that he either must go postal... or go home!

And yeah, someone did make a chris chan mod for this. Its awful. Very awful.

Postal 2 isn't exactly the most polished game mind you. It's pretty good but it does have it's flaws.

Pissing on other players gets old real quick.

It's a lot like Deus Ex 1's multiplayer (yes it had a multiplayer mode that was patched post release). It's completely dead because it was never popular to begin with. The game just simply wasn't built around having multiplayer. The same goes with Postal 2.

Postal 3 and the movie had their moments. They were still both piles of horse shit, though.

You can get some fun out of it, but I don't know if it maintains that level of fun for the whole game. There's not a whole lot of variation on the levels or action, just what kind of person you're killing now.

I learned some interesting things from RWS's AMA today.
-There's going to a major addition to POSTAL 2 soon, RWS just won't say what.
-Vince Desi shoved a cherry bomb up a cat's ass once as a kid. He's into animal rescue now, though.
-POSTAL is banned in 14 countries.
-Uwe Boll is actually a really nice guy.
-Akella won't answer RWS's calls.
-MikeJ leaks fluid.
-Many reviewers loved POSTAL and/or POSTAL 2, but their editors wouldn't let them give a high score.
-There might actually be a second POSTAL movie.
-They prefer POSTAL to Postal, whore.
-There were originally going to be hasidic jews in POSTAL 2. Even as a jew, MikeJ wants to "kill the ultraorthodox baby dick suckers!"
-RWS had BBQ's with the money they saved from fired employees' salaries.
-To come up for ideas for POSTAL 2, they "all sit in a sweat lodge, smoke a fuck ton of peyote and record our musings.....naked!"
-I convinced Toploader (RWS's project manager) to watch The Room.
-Their biggest problems with the game industry nowadays are "publishers not respecting the fans to the point it's going to hurt everyone, even the publishers themselves."
-To get Gary Coleman to lend his voice in POSTAL 2, they "held carrots in front of him and made him run around a track until he said yes."
-Most of Postal 3's music was placeholder music, but Akella didn't swap it out before they shipped it. Amazing how one of the best soundtracks in a game (in my opinion) is full of music that wasn't supposed to be there.

Dunno why Co-op would take like 10+ years for RWS to implement. They implemented deathmatch and people have made custom coop maps.

There's a lot more on their roadmap right now that is slightly more interesting. Like steam workshop and controller support. They also alluded at one point to potentially new content one day.
