The good for nothing finally has something new to show, and unfortunately it's an eye sore. I went back to an old sketch and inked it for practice. I really don't like how this turned out ink-wise...And I think honestly if I had the choice I'd just do the entire sketch all over because it's far too hard to understand both in perspective and shading. In fact, I think I'd just do it all in sketch now that I've started learning to refine and define details better in pencil. Then I won't have to ink the image!

Oh well, might as well learn from this. What do you think?

The Capra Demon from Dark Souls. I'm testing out how to do backgrounds because I'm absolute shit at them so I'm starting with trying to make sure the character blends in with it. He started out being drawn as practice for me to get used to musculature to know how a body moves.

Edit: If anyone has any pointers in coloring, I'd love any criticism so I can improve my layers and effects. One thing I know already is the blurring above his skull and horns looks a little distracting, something I'll remember in the future to be more precise on instead of lazily selecting parts to blur with motion.

Also can we post multiple pictures in one post if they're huge? I'm guessing I should spoiler them if there's a lot to look at.

Lord knows that I don't get how to shade figures properly.

In class we had to do anykind of painting as long it involved water colours and zentangles.
I have only used water colours so much, but it's kinda fun to use and I hope I'm getting the hang of it.
I kinda dislike zentangles
Trigger warning: I don't know German, and it has edgy text.

Excellent, I hope your teacher doesn't give you a bad grade on this.

Simple gesture drawings done in class. Either 30 secs to 1 minute, or 3 minutes per pose sometimes. This should be helpful to learn from.

The Ice Climber's 30th Anniversary is coming up in 3 days. I made my own little tribute drawing to them.

A simple animation I did for the first animation project. My first animation ever done. I didn't use a light box. Kinda explains why the drawing is so jittery :x
