Before you start INSTALL THIS TAMPERMONKEY EXTENSION. If you dont you will be bombarded by annoying popups to sign in every time you change a page.
Lately I have gotten incredibly obsessed with going through goofish and finding odd, as well as cheap and interesting electronics. If you search one thing of interest youll go down a rabbit hole of other really, really wierd things. Below are some examples of odd things I have found;
A famiclone with a builtin computer, floppy drive, parallel, crt, and printer port.
A videocd player in the shape of an original ps1
A famiclone for only 200iq+
an mp3 player for weaboos
gooners are NOT exempt!
Has anyone else browsed the chinese ebays? Have you found anything odd yourself? Apologies for not including links btw. I need to scower to find them. For now will post them per request but keep in mind goofish doesnt archive things well on their site. you can link stuff youve found but include images as the archives of the links are most likely not going to include images.
That's actually pretty cool. I'm surprised Techmoan hasn't shown one of these yet. Or maybe it's just one of the many things he's put in storage over the years that he's not yet had a chance to make a video about.

well the thing is in order to find some of this wierd shit you have to use a lotta vague keywords. like those mp3s I put in the op I have to sort from low to high with just the keyword MP4播放器 so sometimes you gotta browse for a long time. I will say though with some of the wierd shit ive found its definitely worth it.
Before I contribute more I am sure a ton of people are having issues going to goofish.com. I strongly recommend of you are browsing the site to install this tamper monkey extension. It removes the cellphone and login prompts when you browse pages on goofish. if it doesnt work outta the package make sure to clear the cache.
Sorry for doubleposting but theres just so much more wierd shit I found today. plus I also wanna add in some special bootlegs.
the first thing I found was some dude selling a live cat.
and someone else is selling a sugarglider.
also a bootleg iphone thats also supposed to be a sony vaio.
le ipoo (these ones were posted on my imageboard a while ago)
and an ipoo 832 for you
theres a very special bootleg I am about to purchase too but im not gonna post it till I get it. Ill share actual pics when that comes and ill probably also archive the firmware.
Will this shit ship internationally? I love these robot abominations, so cute.
ETA What would a dildo ultrasound do, like be a ghetto vaginal ultrasound?

I talked to my gf apparently the dildo looking thing may be an actual tool for doing scans for cancer. the coloring is way too sus for me to think its just that though.
As for purchasing them you gotta use a proxy like what you gotta do for japanese items with yahoo auctions. I personally use superbuy but the services really are a dime a dozen. probably the cheapest way would be to just have a chinese friend buy the links you send them and then send them off to you but for convenience...yeah...something like superbuy is the way to go.
fyi, if you wanna find more wierd shit, searching directly on superbuy won't do it, just use goofish directly as it will give you a ton of wierd recommendations in the algorithm.
as an example lets take that "vaio apple" I found. If i look in the recommendations of it I get a helicopter, some translucent shoes, an iphone with a giant chunk missing out of it, and what looks like a iphone ui but its in a wierd green box:
This is a chink oddware Famicom copy for westerners, but Dendy was The game platform in Eastern Europe in the 90s. Not just because of the price, but also because at the time none of the large consumer product producers were operating in Eastern Europe. You either buy Dendy, or you have enough money to buy the private gray import.
Chinese electronic junk is a wild rabbit hole to go down. It's like they had access to AI procedural generation before the rest of the world to help them come up with some of this nonsense.
I will advise you, EXERCISE CAUTION if you plan to buy and check out any of these technological abominations because this crap is notorious for bad electrical safety. Everything from shoddy wiring, capacitors the wrong rating for the power they'll get from the wall, to cheaply assembled lithium cells that can easily expand and explode in moments. Bugland doesn't have much if any consumer safety protection so it's completely legal to sell what is essentially a portable fire hazard in the shade of an iPod mini to anyone.
I mean if you don't use a proxy site like I do probably yeah. If you do its likely the order will automatically reject your purchase. I had this happen with a chinese-exclusive translator that I purchased.
Boy do I got a list for everyone today. Again if other people find things please feel free to post them here.
First and foremost we have a videocd of naruto with mickey mouse on the front? Also for some reason the left vcd has sakura has yellow hair.
For those who don't know VideoCDs were like the vhs tapes of china starting in the 90s going to the early 2000s (And sometimes even today). Its essentially just an mpeg1 file on a compact disc.
Next we have a gameboy color motherboard with what looks like a large bite out of it. I guess you could desolder the cpu and sound chip and all that and transfer it to another motherboard but god damn does it look bad.
In the same vain we follow things up with some cartridges. In this case we have what seems like a barbie game, except on the front label we have card captor sakura for some fucking reason.
We then have "fortified zong", where in the real name is actually fortified zone, at least according to the gameplay the seller shared.
We then have what seems to be vanilla pokemon yellow with a couple updated sprites, except the front cover has some wierd yellow blob next to ash.
The next has mr. incredible on the front, and the game seems to be a super man game
This next one isn't particularly interesting, I just thought the artwork looked nice
But what is interesting is this entry. This one from the research I have done does not have a single recorded instance of being archived. Because of that I decided to purchase this cartridge and since I already purchased a rom dumper I can archive it on this site so long as the admins don't have an issue with that. I'll also put a copy to archive.org.
What we have here is labelled as "episopde III star war". Unlike other bootlegs though the splash screen for the game actually mimics the misspelling of the label. As you can probably see this isn't revenge of the sith on the front but a bunch of the characters from the phantom menace.
Anyways back from the cartridge sperging heres a bit more odds and ends:
Here we have what seems to be a crt brand known as KONKA. Not only do they copy the nokia font but from what I have seen from other listings, this tv seems to come in all the colors that the iMac G3 came in:
Following that we have a crt dvd combo from changhong. This one is special as not only is it the shape of a panda with bamboo being the dvd drive, this one has variants in the shape of a frog and a penguin:
And to round it all off we have a famiclone literally named "dead shot"
Anyways hopefully everyone is enjoying this thread so far! I find it a fun use of my downtime when I really am not doing much.
Do you think they realize the sticker is wrong? Like they go out and are like 'eh, whatever. It's a boot leg. Who cares?' Or do they just not realize it? Because I can understand having issues with fucked up Cantonese misprints in America. No one here reads the language and each words has its own scribble. But English only has 26 symbols. So just looking at them and realizing the letters are different between two texts isn't immpossible. You can fit our entire alphabet on a post it note and have room to spare.

my conspiracy theory is that they know they are spelling it wrong and they think by misspelling things so drastically will cause americans to buy up their shit ironically or as a joke. which isnt far from the truth (me being a blatant example) but I dont know how some shit goes so deep into production with no proofing whatsoever.
