Then we went to the next village and did the same thing all over again until we decided to settle and reap the land or someone killed us. You tend to not need porn when you have a harem of sex slaves to satiate yourself with. You also don't tend to need porn when you're married off by 14 and having children. Even then, go read old literature. It's full of sex jokes and degenerate acts. There's no need for porn when you have pillaging and raping.

It's really astounding how none of you can see that maybe eliminating the things pacifying men while also brow beating them into the dirt can't lead to anything good.

Hi, i hope everyone is having a good time in this thread, just a reminder that Kiwifarms is a porn site and you can watch videos of people having sex that were recorded without the permission or one or more of the people involved right now, and people do in fact pay money to watch content like that.

I can think of 3 ways of discouraging porn consumption:

• Site ID verification: Not a fan of it because it relies on sites to implement and not all of them would. Sure you could block the ones that don't but it would be like whack-a-mole. It might moderately reduce porn consumption but it would also push people to the sites that didn't follow the rules. Those sites would definitely have less moderation and more illegal/extreme content. Also, those sites would attract the ultra degenerates that don't want to tie their tranny midget blacked searches to their ID, pushing them further into the hole. In my opinion, this makes the issue worse.
• Machine learning algorithms: Every image sent on social media platforms is ran through machine learning algos that can detect 18+ content (including softcore porn like OF promo). You can only see it if you verify you're 18+ with ID. Some platforms do this to an extent, but it's pretty useless since there's no verification. I think this would help and doesn't have many drawbacks.
• Education: I remember porn being introduced in a playful way during primary school sex ed. There was no talk of it's harm and addiction, it was almost encouraged. Kids should be taught about the negatives of porn in school. This is good but wouldn't do a lot to help.

That being said, none of what I mentioned stops 13 year old me.

No, I don't. Booze can't be accessed as easily and cheaply as porn. You can ban porn online easily, it'd probably make the physical stuff blow up in popularity again but that can never cause as much damage as Internet porn.

I’ve never seen a more wrong statement in my life. VPNs, fetish content that is porn adjacent, TOR browsing, Discord, Tellagram, pre existing porn, AI generated slop that you can’t tell is porn until generation. This is in a scenario where we instantly arrest all who consume online porn and discounting the loopholes that porn companies will exploit the law down to the letter. I’d argue it’s more accessible than booze. Bootlegers needed to be sought out and if you lived in a shitty town they were all garbage or Feds. Porn addicts have much lower standards with less risk even in a porn ban world.

One thing I've noticed is that a decent chunk of the people who are most vocally in favour of banning porn are porn addicts themselves.

The first group are gooners who want to stop, but have such little self-control that they want big daddy government to step in and force them to go cold turkey.
The second group are gooners who think that the specific type of pornography that they consume is different, and would therefore be exempt from being banned. I've seen an unusually-high amount of women who schlick themselves to deranged written smut, who simultaneously argue that pornography should be banned.

I’ve seen a good amount of femcels try to argue why porn needs to be banned but THEIR porn is ok. I saw this Reddit post once where all the comments were femcels trying to justify to themselves why their yuri porn audios are moral because “They're just audios, no male gaze involved”.
