Sounds pretty pussy to ban people over hurt feefees. At most just add a mute/block feature instead of letting sopping wet cunts dictate speech. The mods should ideally laugh at the reports and respond by saying "eat shit faggot" with a suspension.

We'd probably have way less whiny retards if society as a whole took this approach. Stop validating weakness.
 
Just wanna share a big brain moment I has back in the day.
In 6/7 gen I used to play a sticky web team with shuckle+bisharp.



My team was good against balanced and hyper offense thanks to the webs but I always had trouble with stall and all stall had mega sableye at the time.
However I found the perfect trick to counter then. I would lead with shuckle put the webs on my own team which then would give bisharp +2 atk because of defiant (if any stat is lowered he gets +2).

Coupled with a special attacker I would counter the number one stall strategy(switching to a safe mon). My Bisharp came in at +2 and could pursuit trap the special wall.​

Stallfags will argue up and down that stalling takes skill, which it does in the sense that you need a thorough understanding of the meta you're playing in moreso than someone with a full team of sweepers/wallbreakers, but it's absolutely the worst way to play by a wide margin, second only to those little kids who stack a team full of Ubers on AG or NatDex. Stalling draws out battles to a frustratingly long degree and everyone uses a rotating roster of the same dozen Pokemon.

That's nothing new, they've been doing that for a while, I remember when Gen 6 came out, they applied that ban.

Looks like it's in the NationalDex format A.K.A. the more FUN one, and I say that because besides the normal clauses and Gigantamax Ban, there hasn't been too many restrictions to that format since it's inception.

Assist is one of the moves that got culled in the actual games, sadly.
 
I dunno, seems Revival Blessing is more of a problem than Assist. Assist can be used in a variety of strategies and RB in and of itself is very counter-intuitive to how the games have been played competitively since the very beginning.

Why ban the move that isn't in and of itself, broken, but not the move that's actual bullshit? RB is a move that shouldn't exist. It may only have 1 PP, but its quite literally an extra life for whatever you need for the situation, and the little rat bastard still stays alive too (unless KO'd the same turn). Now that's bullshit

Fuckin' Smogon, man.
