Battle Frontier Gen 3

The 252's are on HP and Special Defense

Not sure why Guillotine would always hit you, as that move was no longer based on speed by the time Gen 2 came around.

Quick claw has a chance of letting the Pokemon holding it move before you regardless of speed, giving it a chance to use a ohko move on you before you can even touch it.

Ah, yes, Brightpowder! When your 100 accuracy Flamethrower fucking MISSES on the very first dipshit you have to body. That one Pokémon that has it, you'll be lucky enough to be phased instead of a KO.

Or, worse, Focus Band. You think the bastard is going down like a bitch, then all of a sudden, you get a face full of Counter or Mirror Coat, or even a Reversal. One Heracross nailed my whole team that way once. First, Megahorn my Latios, then my Swampert, and when my Metagross hit it, boom, I click on my save state. If it's the very last Pokémon you have, that's where you'll start to believe the game loves to troll you.

The Battle Palace IS frustrating, but, you have to understand that it's indeed important for your mon to have the right nature. Adamant Pokémon have a higher chance of using physical moves. Modest for special.

As for the Battle Pyramid, being trapped is part of the mechanics, unfortunately, which is why it's best to have a Dodrio that knows Runaway.

Also, a Linoone with Pickup. Finally, the third slot should be the main force of your team. Like your Salamence.

This is mine:

oh jooooooooooy, more alt versions/evolutions of older pokemon from specific regions. GameFreak, how DO you fucking do it? I've AAAALLLLLLWAAAAAAAYYYYYS wanted a Braviary that looked like a colossal faggot!!! /sneed

Since there was no mention of Giratina or the Distorsion World, I'm expecting a Giratina DLC. Otherwise, the remakes seem decent enough. Still doesn't warrant the high price though, especially if they're gonna keep the retarded butchered Pokedex idea from SwSh.

Now that I think about it, we didn't see much in the way of post game content either. Skipping out on the Frontier in favor of doing just the Battle Tower like in D/P would honestly suck.

Holy shit Arceus does not look like hot garbage and made the most meaningful change to the battle system since the physical special split, hope styles stay in mainline since they would add alot of tactical variety without being a meme like maxing was.
Whatever happened after SWSH it must have kicked GF's ass into designing a game that feeds into itself
Edit:
>gets an evolution

That actually makes ense, since this was before Sinnou was colonised... equivalen to the prototype Pokémon designs.
Th is actually a great surprise!
...
...getting prototype Pokémon designs in an official game is very unlikely, but you could have said the same about open-world Pokémon games that hire 'this man'. Anything is possible now.

Wow BDSP actually looks good and not the dumpster fire I thought it would be. And following Pokemon seemed to have returned outside of Amity Square. Nice to see Pokeball stickers make a return too.

The fact that it's pulling elements like that from HGSS makes me :optimistic: for platinum content in BDSP, the fact no letters for the stickers were shown makes me sad I won't be able to write "Gay Retard" on my pokeballs anymore though who knows maybe they are crazy enough to put in the unknown quest again like mad men

That or just the circumstances in the environments to make these ancient variations exist just are not around anymore
Speaking of those regional variants, I think it's safe to assume that the typing for them all is obvious?

H. Growlithe: Rock or Rock/Fire

Wyrdeer: Normal/Ice

Basculegion: Water/Ghost

H. Braviary: Psychic/Flying

I'm still not holding my breath but seeing the footage for BDSP and Arceus caught my attention - which is something the games haven't done in a long time. I can't believe I'm saying this - but I'm beginning to feel slightly eager to see what else they're planning to do. They're both a far cry from the trailers they showed off the first time around.

Also I love the way the pokeballs emit steam and fireworks when you use them to capture pokemon. Nice touch.

Legends looks like it's playing in 480p to keep 30fps despite nothing demanding happening on screen. BDSP looks better but is missing Battle Frontier or any reason to play it beyond post game. Legends also has checklist system for tasks which will be the bulk of the game outside of the story.

HOME functionality coming in 2022 for both, BDSP having a Pal Park will mean its revamped into something else, or it will not be functional until HOME connectivity, though I could easily guarantee both Legends and BDSP will only have one way transfers to HOME. Disappointing stream only having new forms to generate hype and people playing defence for Legends because the models are not sub-30fps anymore despite being a product of the most profitable franchise in existence with its head studio working on it.

Come on Girafarig evolution! It won't happen, but it has such potential.

I can't wait to get my hands on that Wyrdeer.
