Lmao laxidaze and Palworld both use some of the same store assets like that blue creature at the end of both trailers. It looks okay. Nothing mind blowing as of yet though I'm sure that'll change if the developers get enough funding.
Is there combat involving the actual monsters themselves? All I'm seeing is a third person shooter that happens to have a bunch of Pokémon lookalikes either using guns or acting as bodyshields for the player.
I'm not saying the concept of Pokémon actually being enslaved to humanity is bad, there's a lot of ways to go about it, but they could've at least shown some gameplay relating to monster battles. I do admit that seeing the monsters actually interact with the environment is refreshing for once, like how the water types are tending to crops and the electric types are powering something up.
Also, is that a white Nessa near the end?
They show the back with some lights strapped to it in Laxidaze 0:53 and show it from the front in Palworld 1:23.
