I've played all the gen of pokemon form first to this current gen. loved all the pokemon eventually...exspet stunfisk fuck that dumb fish.

You can’t get it legitimately, but you can have someone generate a legitimate-looking Zarude for you (try Juno_87 on Twitch). Don’t feel bad, even people who tried to get a code usually didn’t.
Thanks for the help, I usually play Pokémon to catch ‘em all and stupidly thought the expansions would add in all the missing Pokémon so I waited.

How is the competitive scene? I’d like to get into competitive battling but it’s always seemed like an uphill struggle to breed the perfect Pokémon and figure out IVs and EVs.

Once Pokemon are to level 100 in SS you can spend Bottle Caps to max out a Pokemon's IVs, and raid Pokemon are guaranteed 4 perfect IVs. EVs can be bought with vitamins, and you usually just invest one Attack and Speed or HP. You even get cheap bulk drugs in the Isle of Armor DLC. The elimination of tons of Pokemon and moves like Hidden Power and Pursuit makes trying competitive a lot easier since there are fewer moving parts that you have to memorize.

Don't worry about perfection if you're just going to battle in Ranked online, no one else does until you get into higher tiers. I've seen like 1 meta-cancer team in Great Ball tier is all.

It’s kind of cool that you can actually make your regular Pokémon viable, but on the other hand it feels almost like an in universe pay to win mechanic.
Thanks for the help everyone, I appreciate it!

Competitive in-game is meh, the stupid forced 20-minute time limit makes stall even more annoying than it already is on Pokémon Showdown. Have I mentioned, fuck Toxapex and Clefable? Because FUCK TOXAPEX AND CLEFABLE.

This is the best Pokémon of the Galar starters and the most famous one.

Do you guys like Pokémon Café or Pokémon GO?
I also like Pokémon Snap, Pokken (I never played it), the RPG games are very cool, but they can be a bit boring sometimes right?
Better not let UntimelyDhelmise hear you say that.

I'm bored and am thinking on attempting a self-drawing challenge. Many years ago, I tried the PokéDex challenge where I was going to draw every (at the time) 493 Pokémon. I ended up doing 9—but I liked drawing the nine Pokémon I had ended up randomly picking. Thought I could maybe try again and see if I can at least get an entire PokéDex's worth of pictures done?

I do that, though, guess I'll have to make an Art thread so as to not clog up this thread, but I kinda wanted to start it here since, well, Pogeymans, and they were mostly going to be doodles because full backgrounds for every Pokémon will kill me. I dunno, after the couple doodles I already posted here, I just wanted to draw some more Pokémon again if just for a challenge since there's many Pokémon I've never drawn before.

Or I could, like, just doodle various scenes from the games. I keep forgetting that years ago I was drawing a pic of Wigglytuff from Explorers creepily looking into my team's hideout 'cause I think there was a piece of dialogue where he said he tends to watch guild members sleep and I thought it was funny. I'm never going to get back into it, though, so might as well throw it up here despite its age. (Like I didn't misremember Wigglytuff being that weird enough to watch his guild members sleeping, right?)

I stayed up late tonight - not for my own new years celebrations, but for the Space Sunrise thing Japan was doing. Cos there were rumours they were finally going to announce D/P remakes there, and as much as I would have liked the games, that would have been the cringiest thing ever.

Well, the grand total pokemon stuff was:
1: A vr pikachu floating around while an astronaut talks

2: Rayquaza (not a gen 4 pokemon, rayquaza) in space.

3: A special event pikachu with the moves Wish and Celebrate (the latter of which literally does nothing now that you can't z-move.

Staying up for this was a mistake, but there's bound to be good salt somewhere.
