it looks like someone made it unnaturally, going 3d was a mistake
Speaking of which, does anyone in this thread have a favorite legendary/mythical pokemon?

It's just so happy and easy on the eyes design wise

Yeah, I’m a sucker for that little hedgehog.

Also hot damn is getting that shiny spawn complicated. Like, I’d love a shiny Grimmsnarl, but I’m not sure I want one that much. Even though I am trying to get a full shiny version of my team and I’m only 1/6th the way there.

Has anyone played the full Pokemon Mystery Dungeon DX yet? If so, what are your thoughts? I played the demo and thought it was kind of fun, but wasn’t sure it was something I wanted to keep doing over a substantial length of time. Dungeon crawlers aren’t really my thing. I’ve never played any of the GBA or DS games, so I’m completely new to the whole thing.

Don't know if this was already posted in the last 380 pages, but this YT vid says Game Freak really messed up with Sword & Shield:

Why Does Pokemon Sword and Shield Suck? Exposing Game Freak

I mean... Did we really need that video?

It's just basically regurgitating EVERYTHING that's already been said. And even goes with "I also played the games growing up" for that nice little nostalgic factor.

"Character moves stiffly"

Really? I mean, the comparison to the Legend of Zelda kinda shows the opposite to me, there's a lot more fluid movement with the trainer - Hell, there's more movement going on with the trainer and... Wait, why is he using LoZ? He just said "let's compare it to the one of the oldest pokemon games on the Nintendo 64", I get that there wasn't a pokemon game with trainer walk cycles, but Geez, couldn't the guy take a few minutes and re-record that line?

Really, this... This video just comes off as trying to ride the wagon to get views. Not really an original thought or critique in this lazy video. Hell, Distant Kingdom puts more time and effort into his vids than this guy did.

Honestly, the video's even done in the Verlisify style video, where the guy's basically just looking at screenshots/vids and using his mouse, just like verlisify did. There's nothing original about this video and stuff that people have covered better, and this is from someone who was more optimistic about the games throughout these 380 pages.

To be fair, this video was made 4 months ago, however the guy does come off like a low effort channel band wagoner looking at how much he uploads

It's like the guy jumps on anything to get popular, having no real interests of his own also. Also a pretty dumb one for putting coronavirus in the title after it's been demonetized to shit and back

My personal favorite has to be Zygarde. I just love the concept of many smaller creatures coming together to form a massive beast that's a force to be reckoned with. That and the fact that its lore states that its job is to protect to wilderness from a crisis where it's needed the most. Really makes me wish he had at least a Z episode in X & Y to give the big guy some more focus.
My favorite legendary is Entei, it just looks awesome. It also happens to be the star of the best Pokémon movie, so that’s something. If only it were a bit stronger.
My favorite mythical is Victini, what an adorable powerhouse. Could’ve been Genesect but l don’t like how Genesect’s gimmick is so similar to that of Arceus.

Ho-oh and Lugia are two of my favourites. I’m also partial to Kyogre and Dialga. Arceus and Celebi seem pretty boss too, but I’ve never owned either.

The franchise as a whole can't go 10 seconds without fucking something up now it seems. Sigh...
The first glitch is way too specific for any casual player to worry about unless it's confirmed to also occur for sleep mode and the home button.

Second one of course is of bigger concern if it's confirmed to be replicatible. Though, the game was released not to long ago, so I'm sure a patch will be released soon to fix these game breaking bugs and then some.

Don't wanna get too much into it, but the video came out right after the games came out, and most of the stuff was already talked about - Again, DK, as much as it pains me to give him any credit, did talk about that stuff before this and it's just kinda pathetic to see people give a video that only just serves as hate wanking for bringing NOTHING to the table. Honestly, I kinda hate those kinds of channels, if you're not even going to attempt to be entertaining or at least bring something new up, why should I care?

I mean, the first one requires you to exit the game on purpose during a load time. Why would you do that? That's kind of a stupid thing to do.

BTW, here's the reddit post:

Honestly, I'm not even sure if I should believe this person at all. Optimistic I know, but still, pics or it didn't happen. People really shouldn't believe what some schmuk online is posting about. I mean, I could claim that the moment I put a copy of Mystery Dungeon into my switch and it decided to make my switch bug out and delete my saved game data.

I recall when people were complaining about some issues with Sword and Shield, and it turned out that it wasn't an issue with the games or the console, but the Televisions.

If and when Pokemon ends, what do you think the final game in the series would be like? Hopefully not a disappointment...

(also I don't see the franchise ending anytime soon)

Would probably end not with a bang, but with a whimper, unless Game Freak were made aware that this would be the final game in the series. Basically, I’d expect nothing special, just something roughly on par with what we’ve been getting lately.

It'd be the final game in the franchise. They'd have to do something special for the occasion.

Not necessarily, it could just be a regular game that somehow ends up selling poorly enough for the series to come to an end (for example, Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash). However, I can’t see this ever happening to Pokémon unless Game Freak were to fail catastrophically.
