I bought the game out of curiosity. I have a digital copy and have played about 4 hours so far. Have auto-save off, been in a lot of Pokémon encounters.

My data for other games is backed up on a different microSD, so I’m not really concerned about any issues at the moment. As it is up to this point, I haven’t experienced any code breaks, just frame drop lags.

If you're talking about Daemon X or whatever, it's pretty fun. I skipped all of the story cutscenes because it was way too anime and exceptional for me so that made the game much shorter than intended, but there's a decent amount of content and customizing your mech is and watching it shred shit is exactly as fun as it should be

They haven't done a singular third version since Platinum, and that was 10 years ago, I think releasing two new variants every year is more beneficial to them

I really hate that BW2 made that normal, BW2 had point to it since the first two games had differences that kinda impacted the plot but I really miss when games like platinum or emerald would make a GOTY style collection of both versions. Hell I even miss when HGSS included the Crystal content since ORAS shafted emerald into making only the delta episode really have anything to do with it.
