It's hit stateside boys

Don't worry you wont have to wait long for that likely

If anyone is going to risk playing this and is on an older switch, take the time to getting homebrew going. It’s a 99c commitment off eBay for the dongle you need (or you can 3D print one) and will let you back up/restore your switch’s NAND as if you were cloning a hard drive. It won’t get you banned either since the backup/restore happens outside the switch os, just like flashing a rom on a phone.

ETA: there’s also a full-featured save copier so you can back up stuff like the ssbu system data.

The first Pokemon game I ever got was Crystal. That Christmas morning I spent playing it was achingly nostalgic. The graphics and new Pokemon felt so enthralling and exciting. Everything was just so perfect.

When I heard s/s was garbage a few days ago I started playing a romhack called Crystal Clear. I’d highly recommend it to anyone who grew up with the first few gens, it removes the plot entirely and makes the whole game into one gigantic open world where you can wander around and do gyms in any order you want with any of like a dozen starters, and the wild mon levels scale appropriately to your party/badge status. It’s got some QOL improvements too, plus being an emulatable game means you can fast forward slow animations and such.

You think because a few man children are spazing out that there favorite Pokemon they jerk off isn't in it, or that a Pokemon game has glitches and shit graphics(just like literally, every Pokemon game) that us normies aren't enjoying it?
Hey, you have to admit deleting unrelated games off your sd card and bricking the whole console is a new low in terms of glitches.

I'm sorry I forgot what you were right about.
Pokemon isn't worth playing and hasn't been since at the very latest Black and White 2 (Personally I'd say earlier like HG and SS, but the 5th gen was pretty good, I won't lie). Not that it wasn't a cash grab then, but at least the games didn't corrupt your game files, force you to use an online-only backup service you have to pay for in addition to the game for them if that possible happened and just make a game that's so fucking unoptimized (not to mention adding gay gimmicks that add nothing to the actual playing experiece like Mega-Evolutuions). I don't know how they did it but Game Freak made a cashcow and internationally renown franchise shit. Shit like this is why you must stop making games in a game series after a while even if they are phenomenal: after a while, the devs forget what makes it good or the people that made it good leave and then they half-ass it and turn gold into runny shit.

Did the guy on Twitter who was saying he was going to buy 20 copies on amazon and posted screeshots of the cart ended up buying them? I forgot his handle.

nah.

There really isn't any shame in saying you're part of the cancer if you defend this game at this point lol.

A little backbone never hurt anyone.

So I'd need replacement joy cons to play Pokemon the proper way. That's $80

Plus an SD Card $50.

And the game is $60.

That adds up to money I just dont have.

Even if this is happening to the eShop purchases only where you risk practically frying your NAND, I honestly don't trust a physical copy to work, either.

For God's sake, Game Freak, we were half-joking when we said we wanted Missingno. in 3D, that didn't mean you had to implement all of these shitty glitches in attempt to emulate the original bugs.

Holy shit a lot went down in like 16 hours. I went to bed too early it seems.

Yeah, sorry GF, I have been a loyal fan besides Gen 6, but these bugs are a real tipping point for me.

I need a replacement Super Mario Odyssey. I got better ideas to spend cash on
