Best game in the whole series is BW, better than even genwun.

I don't have high hopes for Sword and Shield at all. Sun and Moon was not really that great, and I got sick of X and Y after like two gyms since it was way easy and the villainous team was the most retraded I have seen in any of the games. Well, at least X and Y had AZ, who is one of the coolest charectars in the series IMO and I'm not just saying that because I secretly believe he's AZ from the Firm and N actually stands for Nas. The last actually good pokemon game was ORAS, and I'm saying this even after being repeatedly punched in the gut during the game and Delta episode because in my infinite retardation wisdom, I named my character after myself without realizing the rival shares a name with my ex.

There was a shit ton Hoennshipping in the game, so now I kinda have to ship them together or it's a bigass no u every time I opened. Moral of the story is, don't:
>start a video game drunk or high
>name a charectar after yourself
do:
>your goddamn research.

AZ is the embodiment of how rushed X/Y was and how sorely painful it was that a Z version never happened. Everything about him and the overarching lore of the Kalos region is just dumped on you in a five minute exposition blitz, and then completely forgotten about afterwards till after you become Champion where he shows up again for an extremely quick and easy battle before getting his Floette back.

I can only imagine how they could have fleshed him out there If Pokemon Z did happen.

I love pokemon and have been super loyal to the franchise, I've played all the games and put an insane amount of hours into them all. That being said, now that they've made the exp share go to all party members I find it difficult to go back to the older games because my attention span just isnt in it. I don't really play it much anymore, the new games aren't my thing.

However, for me it all boils down to cute animals i can own, pokemon, digimon, viva pinata, Chao gardens... list goes on. Every few months I get a burning desire to play Viva again, I would gladly die for that game. The food chain is hella lit even if the syrupents keep coming into my garden to devour my sweet innocent Mousemallow's.

If more games like Viva or Chao Garden (sonic) came out I'm sure the variety would force game freak to actually try a bit harder. It's a shame there aren't more games like those...

Viva Pinata is such a fun series. Thr marketing killed any chance of success it could have had, sadly. While not a grimdark adult game, it's extremely detailed in a way I doubt children would enjoy it. A lot of learning required as you go along, but damn if it isn't fun to have a beer and just chill in your garden and watch pinata monsters eat each other and make inbred offspring.

BW is vastly underrated. N is probably my favorite character of the core RPG titles and B2W2 absolutely adds another layer of fucked upness to his backstory. I also just liked having a rival that wasn't an outright hostile asshole, just someone with good intentions and a really screwed up perspective.

I am excited for Sword and Shield though. I got the one Pokemon I wanted (something corgi based) so I am happy.

The only complaint I have with BW is that I don't really care for the starters that much, at least until Serperior's hidden ability got unlocked. Yet that is only a minor complaint. Gen 5 had some of the most inspired Pokemon designs as far as I'm concerned, particularly Galvantula and Zorua.

Unova carried me through a cross country trip to New York, here's hoping it gets some representation in that new anime that TPC is hyping up.

Only two new 'mons from the direct, though I like the look of both of them

I don't like the new pokemon, they look... odd. tolerable but I'd never do anything but put them in the living dex... shit I mean I'd probably just throw them randomly in the pc because I can't do a living dex anymore.

I'm itching for the starters 2nd evolutions, I want to know which one will have that dreaded fighting type. Someone has a fetish for fighting type I swear.

To be honest Cramorant is probably my 2nd favorite of all of the revealed new Pokemon so far (1st is Corviknight). Design is so simple but it works really well for its gimmick, which I find to be quite interesting, and it's kinda funny looking as well. Only downside is that I guarantee that a bunch of people are going to be editing a dick inside its mouth and mllking the joke so much it stops being funny in like a week.

Not really a fan of Polteageist though, it looks kinda bland too me.

Also is Curry a big dish over in England or something? It feels kinda odd that they would choose that as the custom dish when their when plenty of other obvious choices they could have gone with (Mostly Tea).
