I thought much the same at first, then was surprised by the quality of it before realizing it was real.

Fuck all ya niggers. This is exactly how a live action Pokemon movie should look, and I couldn't be more excited.

Fucking fight me.

Yesterday morning something incredible happened. After almost 20 years, the Game Boy Link Cable I bought in 2000 appeared after my mom cleaned out the attic. I bought it the same time I got my Blue Version, but quickly vanished. It was just there in my room, tangled with other wires.

I tested it by trading a Haunter for a Magmar with my Blue and recently acquired Yellow, and it still worked! After all these years of being dormant.

Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee was leaked and datamined

-Only the first 151 Pokemon, the 18 Alolan forms, the 15 Kanto Mega Evolutions, and Meltan/Metalmel are found in the coding, not even traces of anything from Chikorita to Zeraora, so any patched to add them are unlikely
-Mega Evolutions are postgame only
-Gym Leaders are refightable in the Post-game, sans Giovanni, who is replaced with Blue
- Red and the unused Gen 1 Female Trainer(Seen in early concept art and was the basis for the female trainer in FRLG), who is known as Green, are both fightable in the post-game
-There are no post-game locations outside of Cerulean Cave
-There is no Mew master trainer, and Mew isn't needed to complete the dex like in earlier games
-About 500 of the moves are unavailable, so some of the moves that ARE available are boosted (Mega Drain is now as good as Giga Drain, and Solar Beam is 200 power because there's no Sunny Day). However, there are still many moves that were introduced in Gen II and later
-There are 60 TMs, which include a mixture of old moves and some new ones, most notably a Play Rough TM
-Abilities are partially coded in the game even though they are unavailable, most likely to ease converting them to Gen VIII with Pokemon Bank.
-EVs are not available in the game, but they are coded most likely for bank compatibility. IVs still exist, and there is a Hyper Training NPC like in SM/USUM
-Candy stats can boost the raw stats by up to 200, in all 6 stats. They are known as "Awakening Values" in the internal coding
-While the Alolan forms are available via in-game trades, Alolan Grimer and Sandshrew are exclusive to Let's Go Pikachu, while Alolan Meowth and Vulpix are exclusive to Let's Go Eevee

According to all known laws of vegetation, there is no way that a Bellsprout should be able to walk. Its body is too small to get its fat little head off the ground. The Bellsprout, of course, walks anyways. Because Bellprouts don't care what humans think is impossible.

Sorry to double post but the way he follows me is so fucking adorable I just want to hug him. He's the strongest on my team and I'm in love.

Edit because I'm dumb and thought the controls meant i needed the tv, I don't. Nix the tv altogether the controls for it are terrible.

What in the holy fuck is up with those Silly move names? They let little children come up with names now?

Freaking "Zippy Zap"

I find it amusing to read that in a Bill Cosby voice.

I'm looking up data on the size ranges for Pokemon, and it only makes me hope they carry that over into Gen 8, if only to see such ranges for all the Pokemon. But knowing Gamefreak, that's not gonna happen.

Just want to say, giant cobras, bees, crabs, fly traps, etc... is fucking horrifying when you think about it. Having Arbok follow you around is empowering af.

I really want to see all the height differences because holy damn ariados and the rest of the spider pokemon, hell all the bug pokemon would just be insane irl.

I've asked for a Switch and Let's Go Eevee! for Christmas, although I'm planning to buy a Switch myself if I don't get one. I was going to buy one myself sooner because I can't stand the wait, but my family were asking me what I wanted for Christmas and I couldn't think of anything else so I decided to hold off a bit and put it on my list.

I'm playing through Pokemon Y at the moment. I was a bit lukewarm at first and I wasn't liking the Kalos region much (going from Hawaii to France is a major step backwards for surroundings if you ask me), but I've reached the coast and I'm enjoying it a lot more now. I've actually visited France, unlike Hawaii, and I've seen a lot of the locations that have been Poke-fied in the game IRL. Getting to revisit Versailles and Mont St Michel with my own Pokemon team is beyond cool.

I'm also having fun imagining how the Kalos equivalent of the French revolution went down - I imagine Bisharp probably made a very effective guillotine.

I came into it with an open mind, but I have decided I don't really care for the only way to get XP from wild Pokemon being capturing them. I didn't mind the battling grind before, necessarily, and I think having the XP share and adding Pokemon visible on the world map addresses how annoying it is to run into the same Pokemon over and over again if you don't want to. I usually just capture the first Pokemon of any species I come across, then battle the rest to grind up my dudes. Since I couldn't battle, I figured I'd mostly avoid repeats where feasible and feel I'm a little under-leveled as a consequence.

Now I feel like I have to capture as many Pokemon of the same species as I can just to keep my Pokemon on par with the gyms. As much as I love Zubat, I don't want to stroll through and catch 60 of them to clutter up my pokebox, and transferring gives a really minimal reward to boot. Fortunately the game throws pokeballs at you as often as possible, so that's not as much of an issue for grinding as I thought it would be. Let's Go is a adequate way to tide me over until the next mainline Pokemon game, but I don't like it as much as I wanted to. I do hope they keep seeing Pokemon on the map (though in handheld mode it causes some slowdown) and having the pokebox accessible directly from your party screen rather than a PC.

At least they added Catching a combo to get you more items/rare Pokémon Spawns.

On a completely different note:
