As for the new Pokemon, Serebii reported a tweet about Niantic's head of marketing implying that this is a teaser and not a leak. Whether or not he's bullshitting, I can't say for certain; however, it has spawned in America and in Europe for half an hour, so maybe there's some merit to it.

Yeah, right after the community event, they were all over the place. Nothing but Dittonut(the name the Internet has given it). People seem to either love it or just shit all over it and the people who like it, going off Twitter.
 
The new Pokemon was revealed to be a Mythical Steel type named Meltan, and it is indeed usable in Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee alongside the 151 Kanto Pokemon(and their Alola + Mega forms)

I remember for all the shit Gen 5 got for Trubbish and Vanillite lines, they had some cool fucking Pokemon like the Pawniard and Deino lines. We'll see what Gen 8 proper has to offer once some Pokemon are announced for it.

My main concern is how competitively viable it’s going to be. What does this thing have over other mythicals, besides looking like a Ditto with a nut and floating eyeball? I can see it being something like Unown, but an actual mythical? There’s got to be more to it, like a form change, or potentially an evolution, since legendaries can now evolve from something, like with Sogaleo and Lunala.

I don’t hate the design (in fact, I actually like it due to it reminding me of Unown), but there has to be more to it.

Well, in other news. Got me an Import Japanese Pokemon Yellow today. Was marked at $29.99, but they went ahead and discounted it for me.

But I think I ended up paying $9.99 for it, because the cashier needed to go into his own wallet for change, and thats always confusing.

But hooray! Finally begun my Japanese Pocket Monsters collection.
 
Anyone have an extra dusk Lycanrock I could have? I think breeding it and leveling it up at dusk also makes one, totally missed the event. Idk can probably trade whatever, I have a bunch of shiny doduo I could trade/ have every pokemon.
