Oh no no no...
https://youtube.com/watch?v=8HUO336k1Rc:story:

How do you feel knowing people already finished the game day 1? You CAN take it slower, it's like Animal Crossing in that regard, but people who want to just get through the story quickly can easily do so in a whole day.
So you can rush through the story and ignore all the content? Damn, I guess it actually sucks and I'm not having fun... It's so over pokesisters... 41%ing myself right now ACK!

Not wanting to buy =/= can't afford
If you're talking about buying a console for one game only, all anyone can assume is that you're a broke bitch, a fucking retard, or both.

At this point there have been multiple Switch 2 games that have come out that are decent and there's the backlog of Switch 1 games that got graphics/performance updates or extra content or just the passive boost from the better hardware. Then there's all the upcoming games which will be Switch 2 only, so acting like its only for one single game ever is performative bullshit.

I've been hopelessly addicted to PokeMMO, and I hide in the physician's restroom between patients just to play it. Fortunately, the chief of medicine is in his 60 and is addicted to PokemonGO, so hopefully he'll understand.

After using unLZ-GBA in looking for the data then managing to modify the tileset in place (though I messed up the palettes), the flags till stay.
I played around the ROM, though, and noticed tha the interiors of houses have their palettes also messed up.
I then remembered this post:
The game:

I then went into multiple houses until I found one that has a flag:

You can see an altered flag based on Türkiye, albeit wi the wrong palette.

My conclusion: I fell into a trap.
The tileset I found only works with regular interior houses. The one in the lab is a differen tileset.
Where the other one i something I would have to find later, but now I know leas two ways of modifying tiles in place: Nameles Sprit Editor and unLZ-GBA.

Damn, is this the tranny flag or the rainbow flag? Will you do the other one to be greek or GULP NORTH MACEDONIA?

The rainbow flag is replaced wi the flag from Türkiye.
The tranny flag is replaced wi the flag from Macedonija.

I just need to find the tilese tha the laboratory uses, then modify both tilesets with Nameless Sprite Editor. Since I am now currently working from a semi-fresh ROM which only has dewoked text, not sprites, the palettes should stay correct if I modify them this way.

Bless you man, now this is peak

Thank you so much. Here is my work since then.

HexManiacAdvance can detect which files are LZ77 compressed and therefore can be sprites. This means that HexManiacAdvance, in theory, can preview every sprite, but HexManiacAdvance fails to detect a lot of them. Thankfully, HexManiacAdvance can detect blocks of data then let me say tha the following code should be interpreted in certain ways, including sprites. I can even place certain palettes on this reinterprete data.

Another appreciated thing comes from the house tileset having an anchor. That pointer is grouped with a lot of other pointers, giving clues to the laboratory tileset. Even better, I found ou that any LZ77 data that starts wi the byte 10 is tileset data. I also noticed tha tileset pointers normally appear every four pointers in that group.

I found that more flags are at D49620.

Once I edited the tilesets at D73A64 and D49620 i Nameles Sprit Editor, I tested the ROM.

Since the queer and tranny flags are made of a series of stripes, you can divide those flags vertically and end up with two identical flags. Pokémon Lazarus aved on tile space by storing only one half of each flag and rendering eac half twice, though flipping one of the halves. While the similarly symmetrical flag of Macedonija works just fine, the flag of Türkiye i symmetrical horizontally, which means that, with my current hacking skills, the best I coul do was rotate the symbol. I, a Puerto Rican, wish tha the nation of Türkiye xcuse this compromise of mine.

UPDATE: THIS PATCH IS OUT OF DATE. See my next post in this thread.

NOW PLAY YOUR DEWOKED POKÉMON LAZARUS ROM IN PEACE.
You're doing the Lord's work, brother!

Do you guys ever complete the pokedex? I don't. I only care about battling and collecting badges. i want to be the very best, just not like no one ever was. To catch them? That's not my test. To train them, that's my cause.
I do so for most main line games (starting with Gen V) due to the Shiny Charm being locked behind dex completion.
It’s funny how powerful gust of wind was back then that they had to make it a one-of in the WotC precons. It was so powerful they made a version that’s once per turn as a supporter and that card’s a staple 26 years later.
Don’t forget that, when it was first printed back in Black & White - Emerging Powers, Pokémon Catcher was basically a reprint of GoW as an Item where having a playset of it was mandatory for competitive play up until it was errata’d in XY to require a successful coin flip before its effect would activate. That and the rumors about it and Max Potion being short-printed in EPO.
I feel like I'm the only person in the world playing Pokemon Go right now.
I still play it but I admit that the spark has kind of diminished in recent years, especially after the Scopely buyout.

We added a mini game so that will be $70s plus tax.
We made the frame rate dip to 20 instead of 10. That will be $70s plus tax.

Donkey kong is the only Switch 2 game that's worth anything. And it's not a console seller. The reason Mario kart has like a 97% uptake for Switch 2 owners is because the console has nothing else to play. And nothing on the horizon worth playing. People bought the console because it's Nintendo, not because of the games on it.

it goes to show that the effect was powerful enough to still be used with such a setback. I kinda wish they’d reprint professor’s research again, but Lillie’s determination is alright.
