but Slugma/Magcargo, Gulpin, or even fucking Muk if they want to be really unoriginal is possible too.
if they even bother to do something like this it'll just be a regional form of Slugma/Magcargo, unfortunately
The part about not wanting to include an active sulfur mine in a game about protecting the environment is understandable, but if they do end up making blue Slugma/Magcargo I wouldn't be too upset. It'd give them something to be known for besides being OHKO'd by water-types and, most importantly, I like snails and slugs.

Do you guys ever complete the pokedex? I don't. I only care about battling and collecting badges. i want to be the very best, just not like no one ever was. To catch them? That's not my test. To train them, that's my cause.
I completed it in gens 6 and 7. Gen 6 made completing the national Pokedex a very accessible goal, almost all Pokemon are catchable between XY and ORAS, you were able to search Pokemon you've never seen on the GTS, and you had wonder trades, Bank and ORAS Blissey bases.

I even bred 3 living dexes, two for gens 6 and 7, and a spare to transfer to gen 8. I never bought SwSh, so now I've got 600+ Pokemon wasting space in my PC boxes.

I used to want to attempt it. I had a decent living dex but I foolishly transferred it into pokemon bank, and I haven't played a pokemon game since XY released, then hearing they closed pokemon bank in exchange for pokemon home.
I potentially lost my living dex, including some event-only pokemon like the legendary dog trio in shiny version from the Black/White movie event (I think). I have accepted that I lost my 'dex.
There's no fun in trying to maintain something that can so easily be snatched away from you just because you stupidly think TPC cares about you lol.

Pokemon Bank is still online and it's free, you can use it as long as you haven't deleted the app. Go get your Pokemon, they're still there.

The closer I got was the Unbound one because the game is too fun, but overall I hate catching pokemon just for numbers (one of the biggest reasons I hate Gen 1 is locking items behind it)

LOL so while that guy was crying about israel and Trump another troon was at the event being a weirdo sex pest.
Amazing stuff is happening in the pokemon TCG community.

It should be noted, I think those Magmar and maybe one or two other instances in Gen 1 are the only implied Pokemon deaths in the manga. I don't recall anything straight seeming to die in later parts, but the violence in it is relatively more brutal than anything you'd see in the Pokemon anime, rarely there's even blood. Including violence against human characters too. Hence the meme: "[Pokemon]! Use Kill Child!"

Did.....that girl just get eaten up

It’s insane that the TCG space is mostly still just grifters, stupid faggots and retards in it for the money. What the fuck is going on?
When I was a 1st grader, back in the early 2000s, we treated pokemon cards like some kind of currency, those with the rare cards or cool pokemons were almost seen mini-celebrities, and I remember clearly one day some guy coming to school holding a jumbo bulbasaur card like it was Moses with the 10 comandments.
You know what was the first thing I saw about Yugioh when the cards were introduced to school? People actively playing with them.

My exposure with the actual pokemon tcg? I was in 2nd grade, and I remembr my cousin passed to me and my brother a disk containing Visual Boy Advance and various pokemon roms, then one day my father downloaded from Emule an archive of various gba/gb roms (and hacks) in spanish, and among those there was the european rom of pokemon TCG for the gbc with selectable language.
It was literally the last pokemon-themed Rom I tried, and played it only because I could select Italian as a language.

Tl;DR: this isn't even close to be new, pokemon cards always have been about retard trading them like some kind of rare collectable, and the rules were too complicated for people to learn even with the instruction book, Yugioh was simpler to understand, and the fact that there was a cartoon showing off how to play the game helped, it wasn't just the new thing, it had better exposition, but what kind of exposition did the pokemon tcg had? Logan paul and a bunch of retards (+Maxmoefoe) on youtube opening card packs and acting like chimps when the holo foil has a swirl between charizard's balls.
