I dropped the video a that point.
"Lily Orchard" AKA Jerry Peet, a tranny, furry and brony who sexually abused his own sister, sockpuppetted as his nonexistent pedophile girlfriend, and wrote plenty of fanfiction featuring grooming, pedophilia and bestiality (including trainers fucking Pokemon).

He has a thread on the Farms that insists on calling him a she for some reason.

Jerry Peet acting like a Jerry Jeet.

Ugh any time I think I'm free of mentions of that "woman" I'm greeted with his name and disgusting fetishes all over again. "Lily" Orchard is a shining example of tranny fetishism and weird creepy pedophilic incestuous relationships. Not to mention there were countless kids exposed to his fucked up gardevoir shit

Somehow the quote disappeared on my end when posting, damn

This card is genuinly more disgusting than the transexual playing it.

Budew's item lock is annoying but I'm more irritated by Gholdengo ex, that fucker should've been printed with a hard damage cap like some older cards did (Base Set Blastoise comes to mind) and I'm happy it's rotated out of the format come April. I'm also not too fond of Charizard ex Obsidian Flames, giving that obese lizard an Ability that fuels its Energy requirements and an attack that's good in both the early and late game is just stupid.

Also, remember that Item/Trainer Lock used to be much more annoying in the past.

Does it mean that in a clean board he can stall for as long as it lives?

If so this sounds like bullshit
If you are going second yea, its absolutely ass to play against if you go first and don't draw anything to knock it out fast and even if you do they normally have a way to retrieve it or a second one they can search for. ontop of that it opens you up for Counter catcher so if you don't have a way to move around your bench you might get locked up even more with a mon in your active spot.

In this case the Goldengo player had 1 knockout left to win but all his energy was in the discard, which normally is a easy win since you can easily get them back with energy retrieval but he got locked down with a Budew and no way to get it back or energy left in his deck to attack.
It was a well timed Budew but doesn't change how disgusting the card is.

This is also why I like running Lanas in Dengo as a 1 off, Its an easy way to deal with Budew late game + get Solrock/Luna if needed.
But also Lana + Superior energy can get you the 7 needed to knock out a Charizard which can be helpful.

The pokecard scene is such a disaster now. So not only is there scalping BS, there is also even armed robbery of card shops (in lax-on-crime states though). And In one store that sold magazines that came with booster packs, I saw every copy had the booster packs ripped off. I'm also a bit out-of-the-loop as to how it got so insane these days ...

Scalping seems to have died down quite a bit for now since they are moving to One peace and the League of legends cards due to artificial hype bubbles. Phantasmal flames UPC are rotting on shelves it seems while I dunno what its like over seas but preorders for Ascended heroes has been super easy to find and still many places taking them and just a few days ago the next set open preorders and pretty much everything is still able to be preordered today including the 36 pack Booster boxes that normally sell out immediately because they come with promo cards.

I've also noticed a lot of Journey together and Destined Rival drops the last few weeks. The only thing I see sell out super fast is Prismatic Evolutions because resale on it is still super high along with a lot of super high prices pulls

Seconding this. I actually managed to get two Mega Kangaskhan ex boxes from Walmart’s online store and the promos were the main draw for me due to me wanting to make a Mega Absol ex deck, the packs are just a bonus.

Funnily enough Creatures printed three other Vileplume cards that blocked Trainer cards from being played after they printed Dark Vileplume:
Vileplume ex from EX Hidden Legends prevented your opponent from playing Trainer cards (except Supporter cards) if Vileplume ex was in the Active Space.

Vileplume from HS Undaunted had the same kind of Trainer block as Dark Vileplume but without the Special Condition shut-off. Ironically enough this one saw play in the VileGar deck archetype and in Worlds 2011 finalist Ross Cawthon's The Truth deck back in 2010-2011 season.

And then there's Vileplume from Ancient Origins which was nerfed to only block Item cards. This one still sees play in Japan's Expanded format every now and then and it was popular when Forest of Giant Plants was legal in the Standard format.

Good lord that attack is horrible. Talk about heavily relying on luck.

If this was a card in TCG Pocket, then it wouldn't be as bad since you don't attack yourself due to confusion.
These were the norm back then, though people knew that Dark Vileplume was a card best left in the Bench.
I had no idea tha they got rid of the self-confusion damage.

I knew that you had more knowledge about Vileplume compared to I. /sincere/
Vileplum ex seems to be a big nerf because of the Supporters and Active Pokémon requiremen, though I wonder if that just made Vileplum ex more 'toggleable': switch, play any Trainer cards, and switch again.
Undaunted Vileplume seems to be actually going through the power creep already.
At least Ancient Origins Vileplume undid some of the power creep, though I do not know the state of gameplay in the current card game.

My gold Mega Gardi card got a 9 from PSA, can't say I am disappointed since I had no plans on selling but does make me wonder how much the actual difference between a 9 and 10 actually is in the end because I've seen people resubmit the same card multiple times and get different grades each time.

TBH the entire grading scene is a bubble built on a scam system but I mostly just wanted to get my Gardi done because I don't expect to pull anything as rare ever again.

Replaying Pokemon Sun, and this might be the first pokemon game in a long time where I had to heal in the early game. Namely against the teacher in the pokemon school and her alolan meowth. Ilima's smergle which has elemental attacks like ember and stab tackle on a single stage normal pokemon is no joke in the early game. And a ace trainer's rockruff on route 3 that flinched my Rowlet like 8 times in a row with bite.

I'm not that far into the game yet, just beat the water trial, but I'm am looking forward to replaying the rest of the game. The gameplay was definitely an enormous upgrade over XY and ORAS. I do think the ultra games are better from a pure gameplay prospective but base SM has a better balance. (I'll have to replay the ultra games too to truly give my opinion on it).

I also think SM does the whole "traveling with friend" storyline much better than how XY did it. Since you get to actually interact with Hau, Lillie, Gladion etc, who are at least more interesting than the XY friend group.

Another thing is that SM definitely reused scraped features from pokemon Z, the zyguard cell side quest and professor sycamore's assistants appearing in alola were definitely meant for a pokemon Z.

I've said something similar a few pages ago but I wouldn't just be fine if the switch games had base SM's overall quality, I genuinely would be happy about it. Since those games are consistently good even if not perfect or on part with the core DS games. A lot of SM is also improving on what XY and ORAS lacked as well, better gameplay, more balanced pokedex, more interesting character writing. At this point GF genuinely still cared a lot about pokemon, and despite the 3DS era's flaws, I wouldn't say it's lazy (the ultra games were definitely rushed to make a few extra bucks tho).

I yapped a lot here, but I now understand why my younger self loved gen 7 back in the day, and understand why I was willing to look past USUM's flaws, at the time anyways, since the foundations were still solid.

It honestly varies depending on the employee tasked with grading your card when it reaches that stage, it’s why cracking a slab and regrading it is somewhat popular in the PTCG collector scene.
