Jesus, I am completely DESTROYED BY FGO chapter 2 final battle.

Look, we are talking about a game that you see PNG and 2D illustrations move in a visual novel way, ever since 2015, it never changed.

HOWEVER.

I wasn't crying at the story sections of the game, BUT THE BATTLE SECTIONS, THE TURN BASED GAME SECTIONS, MADE ME SO EMOTIONAL I WAS CRYING.

This is a mobile game from 2015, they don't have voiced sections or anything, meanwhile pokemon in the switch, a console with power to do way more than FGO ever could is there... Doing absolutely nothing.

Sometimes I feel like I should stop playing Pokemon games and just go play a SMT game. Maybe I would feel something other than nothing.

And the worst is that their big game from 2025 can justify their laziness in "oh it is a switch 1 game" and let it be. I am fuming on things that I should let go months ago when Digimon came out and BTFO ZA in all levels.

It will never not be funny that pokemon on the switch single-handedly damaged the ENTIRE PLATFORM'S reputation, despite the switch in reality being a pretty strong console by Nintendo standards and Pokemon being bad was the exception rather than the rule.

Your last post already has me interested in playing FGO, bu this just increased my interest.

Not o  recycle this theme, but I find this funny.
TemTem had backing of massive hype by people disgruntled by the performance of true and honest Pokém on the Nintendo Switch, but one of the reasons behind the failure of TemTem is the bad performance on the Nintendo Switch, despi TemTem using a client-server model.
If Pokémon, a consistent killer app that is running natively on the Nintendo Switch and has massive backing by Nintendo, flounders to the point of crashing, then what would that say abou the Nintendo Switch, let alone Pokémon or even the monster-catchin genre in general?

The 3DS cartridge rot is real. Both my copies of Y (US copies, if that matters) no longer work.
Is it bad soldering? That will result in the game loading and loading and loading, or some errors but sometimes that game loads (also crashes). Happened with me and 3DS SMD. I think putting the cartridges in more gently could fix that. And if it's a flash memory issue instead, powering the game on at least once every few months or so could help.

The initial story start is very rough since they were still experimentating but after chapter 6 they finally let the narrative flow better than having battles every story node.

As for the gameplay just pick your favorite characters and don't care about meta. You will experience a story that you will never forget for sure.

Like wants a pokemon game that you didn't care for much, but couldn't bring yourself (or care enough) to hate on it that much either.
ORAS. I just found it boring. You can easily oneshot most NPCs' mons with your starter and the story isn't interesting enough to be worth the monotonous battles. It still kept me entertained enough to actually beat the game, but aside from shiny hunting legendaries I haven't cared enough to return to it.

Truly, you can't get lightning in a bottle twice.
>shit abilities
Clearly this 4chan nigger doesn't know what Mold Breaker does.

Haxorus was a victim of power creep. It was actually pretty strong when it was first introduced, it had a pretty solid movepool of Dragon Dance, Earthquake, Outrage and Superpower, and back then its 76/90/70 bulk was actually enough to let it use one or two DDs before demolishing things with its 147 attack (for comparison, Zekrom's is 150 and Salamence's is 135).

Also, did the Flygonfags' shouting result in anything? Didn't think so.

It will never not be funny that pokemon on the switch single-handedly damaged the ENTIRE PLATFORM'S reputation, despite the switch in reality being a pretty strong console by Nintendo standards and Pokemon being bad was the exception rather than the rule.
That's because Pokemon fans would throw the Switch under the bus whenever anyone criticized the games' N64-tier graphics. "You see, Pokemon has bad graphics because the Switch is a weak garbage console!"

Why people kept saying this when there were several popular Switch games that looked better than Pokemon I'll never understand. It must be some industry-grade copium.

Those are fake fans.
Real FlygonCHADS actually root against Flygon getting a mega evolution because we know it'll ruin him.
Seething hard
When mega, it's going to be PU

Speaking of Mega Flygon, do any of you find a fan Mega Flygon design that was actually good? /sincere/
No not unironically. They all look like cucks. Mega Kingdra has nice fan designs but every single flygon concept art I know has either more wings or a longer tail. Nothing new.

Everyone was so happy that game freak changed slowpoke to have a more visible shiny, but no one talks about shiny pichu.
Shiny pichu is indistinguishable from goddamn normal pichu.
Why did they fix slowpoke, but leave pichu as fuckin nothing?

Because there's exactly one member of that particular Electric Rat line that's allowed to ever have anything nice?

Look I'm more surprised they actually gave Raichu a Mega - shit, 2 Mega Forms - instead of making Pikachu the first Mid-Stage Evolution to get a Mega, I legitimately wouldn't put it past them to have forgot Pichu exists.
