I've been working on some living dex stuff in older games to kill time, and I've been really surprised how rich the pokemon encounter system is statistically.
I've coincidentally been doing some self study in that regard, and I've been finding a lot of motivating problems just trying to catch shit efficiently that have given me an opportunity to learn more about stats.
I'm happy, because I've found a way to make bing bing wahoo into an activity that increases me intuition of the field.

There's so much depth with how it works, I'm having a blast.

Meanwhile, Star terrorizes larps as an organization while hurting and abusing Revarooms (with Penny's help) because a bunch of high school kids called made fun of them and their shitty gay taste in stuff. There should be a panel where the bosses make fun of Star.

What is this” about the music, saying that this game “disgusts” them, and even people saying they want to make a “anti-gay patch” for the game.

Again, Lazarus included a lot of new things for me. That includes music, and I know a lot of the tracks are far from perfect. But at the end of the day, I’ve been making this project for over a year in my very limited free time, all because I wanted people to have a cool new region to explore. And to those being homophobic and hateful, I truly have to say that you have no place in this community. Queer people have always existed and we will continue to exist, with or without your permission.

With that said, I’ll be taking a step back from the community for a bit. I’ll post bug-fixing and new feature patches to the Development Discord server, but I don’t plan on posting anywhere else for a while. If I go on to develop a new project (which I do have planned!), it will likely be in secret until close to release, if I choose to release it at all. With everything going on in my life (Master’s program, work, real world commitments, etc etc), I guess I’m just not prepared to also handle the bad side of attention on the internet.

Pokemon lazarus dropped one of the best romhacks of the year and ppl were being a [jerk] as usual so now they are stepping back from the community. Pokemon fans proving they deserve nothing but the lowest quality slop once again 💀

You did it yourself, you painted a target in your back and is now crying about it, it is a self inflicted wound. Also for bugs, of course there would be some, but instead of playtesting, you went ahead and released the game like that for no reason. Why? Do you have a deadline? Why delaying a fangame for a few months or years until you fix or become better at it. The fact that this came out a year after Emerald Seaglass, why the rush for a fan project? This game isn't like R.O.W.E that has multiple versions of it because it is constantly updated. Trannydev make terrible decisions and wonder why things got bad like this.

Jesus, this kind of people piss me the fuck off. Fuck off with that bullshit. Romhacking has space for everyone who does shit, it is the whole fucking point of modding games. You do whatever you want with your game. Be it cheating or adding big tits. It is your game. And the same goes for altering existing romhacks.

These projects always have some Day 1 bugs. Look at Super Mario Bros Remastered, which eventually got a super patch that fixed tonnes of bugs.
Then again, I agree tha the release of Lazarus wa suspiciously fast after Emerald Seaglass.

I’m so glad that gamestop is putting all of their eggs into the TCG basket because it just means they’ll be that much closer to going under. Like why celebrate this?

It actually angers me how adults are ruining the TCG. I've never played it myself, but the idea of grown ass niggas making it difficult for children to play a children's card game is repulsive to me.

I still don't get why pokemon abandoned the idea of making games for the card games like we had for GB and GBC. Yu-Gi-Oh GBA games and beyond were great and they always had virtual card games alongside the actual cards but without the need to buy the cards. And no, TCG pocket isn't the same thing. TCG pocket is basically duel links for Pokemon. A simplified version of the real game

It'd be one thing if they were playing the card game, but the fact they often treat it like manchild-flavored stock trading makes it even worse.
