Looking at the character models in the new Pokemon games, it's easy to see how difficult it is to represent race in 3DCG models based on specific designs. In the case of Pokemon, due to the target audience and the image of the work that has been built, there is an obligation to continue to include a wide range of races in the work, but unfortunately it's hard to say that it's been done well.
Lime in Pokemon SV is an elderly woman, and is made relatively less deformed than younger characters to emphasize her hair, nose, and lips, and to show her age, even her nasolabial folds, which is a fairly good job, but Yukari in the new game is terrible. Her facial structure is exactly the same as characters of other races, so it looks like a poorly done photoshopped image.
The reason for this is probably due to the fact that the human characters in Pokemon, especially young female characters, are often heavily deformed and their facial structures are abbreviated to make them look cute. The difference in the three-dimensional structure of the nose is particularly obvious, but if you want to make them beautiful girls, you have no choice but to make them the exact same shape regardless of race.
