I uploaded this dude's animations here, but he develops a more in-depth video about nature-based animations.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=A5F3mX8sLxEBy the by, not only did takatacheroki2624 already mention that 'Impish' ould be grouped with 'Naughty' and 'Sassy', but Random McRandomface mentioned this:
The names for the natures in the different languages are probably different enough that they would either have to be renamed. Any weeaboos here who can translate what the Japanese natures mean and if the English names are accurate?

You could probably cheat on a lot of animations too, you would only need like three animations for Bronzor. The only thing you could animate is it's eyelids and how it sways lol.

Pokemon ZA had to be one of the most frustrating and handholdy tutorials I ever experienced in a game. Fuck that.

It's fun enough to keep me busy, but the usual complaints about modern pokemon games definitely hold up.

There's one more twist I didn't tell you guys.
She actually exists, her grandpa skinwalked as her to fool you.

There's also a shiny mareep quest, like the shiny ponyta quest in PLA.
Got my first regular shiny though while looking for TMs, and it was an alpha too.

Pikachu is one of the few I don't have in Arceus, so I'm jelly.

...hey wasn't the Pikachu model supposed to be different?

Wouldn't it have been better both ascetically and mechanically to have Starmie go parallel to the ground and spin to move then go upright when it is about to attack? Instead it looks like some rushed Game Jam stock wire model stretched into the Starmie mesh. How many people are paid to make this game? How much does this game cost again?

Mega starmie is just the return of pikaman

So, it's really ....

Eta: y'know this also works on the meta level of mega-starmie looking weirdly human, and the starman disguising itself as a human, and the connections between Mother and Pokemon.

> (probably) Easy as fuck
According to games journalists legends ZA is actually hard, now this mean nothing and probably means the game is actually easy
> Rushed development
Now that legends ZA is bad despite GF taking a break in 2024, this honestly just means that modern GF sucks at making pokemon games. I think the next cope is that "if they just had more funding, it would've been good"
> Garbage open world
I saw someone on reddit who claimed it took less than 7 minutes to run the circumference of the map, which let's be honest, is probably true.
> Abysmal Dogshit artstyle
Because the entire city is technically one model with flat models at that, some parts of the city look worse than FUCKING SCARLET AND VIOLET.
> A complete disrespect of fans and customers and waste of their time
Legends ZA might have been the least hyped pokemon game to date, even BDSP, post controversy SwSh, SV, hell even USUM had more hype surrounding them. Which is impressive on GF's part since how much fans back in the 3DS era wanted a pokemon Z or a kalos continuation in general.

ngl I think it's a fun design. It's like an alien trying to imitate a human.

I'm amazed how many people on /vp/ are bitching about the difficulty, this game is incredibly easy, and outside of the two hour railroading session at the beginning, I'm enjoying myself. They fixed some really minor UX stuff I took issue with in SV, (not being able to auto heal status, they brought back the gen 3 style multi select as opposed to a weird button toggle, etc.). I'm having enough fun thus far to be content.

Also, despite being a flagship title for Switch 2, it runs not only well on my crusty first edition switch, it probably runs better than even Sword, and I've never had my switch last longer on battery.

Something minor I miss is how loud hitting a mon with a ball was in LA, it felt like I was pitching a curveball straight into the side of a pokemon's head every time, and it was kind of humorous

Damn that's a nice one. I've so far only managed to find a shiny Gastly, Garbage, and Goat. I can't even get a shiny Gengar cuz the jackasses that made this game decided to remove the link cable. The one fucking awesome QoL item from Legends Arceus and they didn't bring it over to this game.
Emuchads must simply wait for PKhex *sigh*

Someone on /vp/ pointed out that the game hadn't been out for that long, I know it's probably a review copy but I'm going to choose to believe he pirated the game

It's a guy in a rubber suit that attacks the city in the third act of a Power Ranger's episode.

One thing that remains janky as fuck for 3 games in a row now is the sneak mechanics. If I had a dollar for every time an NPC or pokemon somehow flips around instantly while I'm sneaking, I'd have enough money to buy a better handheld
