They don’t care about scalping, resellers and the situation with people going nuts and buying out stores in minutes because they still get their money. The investors don’t hurt their bottom lines any because they only have an impact on the secondary market save for putting up a front as marks while they push for higher MSRP on sets with abysmal pulls like prismatic evolutions. That set is garbage and they’ve managed to get halfwits to joyously throw away money chasing ugly ass SARs. The people that paypig enough get lucky enough to pull an SAR will also tell you that it’s an amazing set and that the pull rates aren’t abysmal. It’s been 9 months of people being battered housewives to their gambling addiction.

They don’t care about the TCG players either or they wouldn’t make out of touch moves like putting a meta changing support Pokemon as a promo in a product that’s being scalped and allowed to be manipulated into being $15. Fez ex got that way because people weren’t opening shrouded fable and it’s a one-of in most decks. The other thing about fez is it won’t have any value when H block rotates out the year after next if it doesn’t get pushed by something new.

To be fair that one's on Creatures this time, they printed Psyduck and Golduck as Card Gym promos and those have historically been printed as blister pack promos outside of Japan.

The real test of TPCi paying attention to the meta and printing stuff to meet demand is, unfortunately, going to be the set list for next two Prize Pack Series packs. If TPCi doesn't reprint the Psyduck line there then we're going to have problems.

What is this? No More Heroes 2? It honestly wouldn't even take that long to do all 26 fights. Just make the first 20 or so unthemed nobodies. It's not like you have to design new mechanics for all of them and you usually fight 100+ trainers in a Pokemon game anyway.

I'm more disappointed that the story looks like a total snoozefest. AZ and his Flower Death Star weren't that interesting to begin with.

Man I hate that people beg for game stores to sell those to people that don’t even play. It made getting earthen vessels and poffins when they were still playable a pain because they caught wind of the demand and tried to up the price on them just like they did with the joltik from SCR. Another thing is those cards won’t be worth much when they either cycle out or something better comes out. I don’t know why so many collectors and investors want to try to cash in on players if they’re so adamant about how no one actually plays.

Got my first regular shiny though while looking for TMs, and it was an alpha too.

Damn that's a nice one. I've so far only managed to find a shiny Gastly, Garbage, and Goat. I can't even get a shiny Gengar cuz the jackasses that made this game decided to remove the link cable. The one fucking awesome QoL item from Legends Arceus and they didn't bring it over to this game.
