Here's a music video of a song called "battle gene M", a Cynthia's theme remix composed by Masuda. Masuda's band (MTM) is performing it and he's playing the keyboard here. I think this recording cuts it off half way for some reason.

Just another reason gen4/5 era GF was peak.

i would've been fine with a mega jynx tbh, cuz even if a lot of megas were given to fan favorites like starters, there were also a lot of the mons who were weak or unpopular pokemon like beedrill or mawile that received megas

I was excited to see Electabuzz and Magmar getting another evolution in Gen 4. Jynx should have gotten a form there as well, since that trio was supposedly a thing. They all got baby forms in Gen 2. But instead, it seems Mr Mime has sort of taken Jynx's spot. How unfortunate, Jynx was a Pokemon I really came to appreciate in the older games. Ice/Psychic was an amazing dual typing.

>hey, you know that pokemon that's based off of that japanese Ganguro style from the 80's and 90's?
<REMOVE IT BECAUSE DATS RAYCIST!!!
i hate western pokemon fans so fucking much.
Furthermore, it's been speculated that if the Pokemon Stadium animations, and Jynx's lack of footprints are anything to go by, she might've been intended to never even have a body at all in the first place, and that black skin is just an empty void.

Sorry y'all, I've been away for a minute but I did want to comment on the recent direct because I do have a lot of thoughts.

The Ditto X Animal Crossing game ( Pokepokia)

This was already being talked about by Insiders, but I think the game is pretty charming for what it is and I'm happy that it's not just generation one.

It's exactly like animal crossing and I imagine every female streamer you know is going to be playing this game until Nintendo announces animal crossing horizons Two.

ZA trailer.

I was not expecting any news from this and initially I was actually pretty excited since I had been waiting for the Kalos Starter megas and they didn't disappoint me at all!

What did disappoint me was the kick in the teeth that these guys are for the time being being relegated to that experimental online tournament that game freak wants to do which effectively makes them FOMO.

I think that genuinely sucks because they're being released in seasons which means you may not get all of them until almost January.

The only thing that I can relate this to is how they (poorly ) handled the G-max forms where prior to the Isle of armor DLC so there's a good chance that they're probably going to be available regularly for DLC but it's still sucks and is anti-consumer.

The DLC announcement is pretty cool even though I know this is a bit of a Hot topic.

The original Legends Arceus didn't receive any initial support beyond that one update but the fact that we're getting full blown paid DLC means that we're going to be playing this game until generation X.

I think Megas for Raichu are okay, but the 3D renders aren't really doing the much Justice.

All that aside, what megas are you guys hoping to see in the DLC since there seems to be a lot?

Its also more closely associated to something like Mr Popo who has that design idea too, though unlike Nintendo, Akira Toriyama and his teams weren't pussies to practically erased him from reality.

Jynx is basically the progenitor of Pokemon like Gardevoir, gothitelle, and Hatterene in that it's specifically based off of mythical creature mixed in with a fashion trend that was popular during a specific era which in this case is the Ganguro subculture and the yamauba.

Yamaubas were cannibalistic witches who lived within snowy regions and their hair covered their faces so you could only ever really see their eyes and in some parts of Japan Ganguro were called yama-ubas for basically having incredibly dark faces that resembles the yokai.

It's a pretty clever design but unfortunately because Nintendo is very cosmopolitan there was no way it was going to go unscathed and Pokemon is a part of the big three so they responded immediately after people started complaining.

I think if they actually wanted to remove it they'd just never include it's line in any regional dex. It's made it's way in to 7 or 8 since it's design change.

They probably couldn't create a new design for it's evolution, it's gimmick is very very one note.

Jynx never appears in the anime after the controversy. It's black listed as can be.

Making an evolution is easy. It just gets bigger. Bigger lips, tits and hips (but not in the porny way)

My wife and I have decided we were pretty much done with SV-on for now given how much of a cluster fuck collecting has become these days. Instead we’re working on finishing our gallery master sets. She’s almost finished with hers, only lacking the rayquaza with zinnia on it and me lacking that one and a few others that are up in that price range. These, in no particular order, are some of my favorite gallery cards from the SwSh era. I’ve always adored the series since there’s so much attention to both detail and the lore behind characters. Sadly, after that, I don’t think I want to bother collecting or playing, at least for the time being.

There was only ever any major upset in 1999/2000 and the design was changed for the western release of Gold/Silver in 2000.

It had it's black skinned design up until it's last major appearance in 2006, then had some fleeting appearance up to 2012/2013 with it's purple skinned redesign.

Mr. Mime for comparison hasn't had a major appearance since 1998. But has had a much longer string of small appearances up to 2015 or 2022, depending how you want to look at it.

I don't watch the cartoon, so this is all according to Bulbapedia.

I see a lot of fans celebrating that Raichu is finally getting some attention over Pikachu, but can we really say that when both of its Megas fuse it to Pikachu? You don't step out of someone's shadow by becoming their conjoined twin.

I think this one is Raichu-y enough. The other one is absolutely just a scruffy Pikachu.
