Oh, and they're distributing the Shiny Wo-Chien (alongside a gift containing 100 Grass Tera Shard, 100 Bug Tera Shard, 100 Poison Tera Shard and 100 Fairy Tera Shards) via Mystery Gift now.
Sure enough.
And if anyone was wondering, you don't need to have beaten or even attempted any of the raids yourself. It still lets you download the mystery gift.

What is your dream starter trio concept?
Chinese dragon, like mizutsune from Monster Hunter
mizutsune_k.webp
Proper dragon, to keep with my monster hunter examples, like Velkhana
MHRS-Velkhana_Render_001.webp
and whatever kind of dragon this is
MHW-Rathian_Render_001.webp
I want all dragon starters.
I think it would be cool.

What is your dream starter trio concept?

Unlike most, I don't mind the job-mascot mons, but I'd love for the next trio to represent aspects of the region, kinda like Hoenn's did and the body diversity that BW's had.

A grass giraffe that evolves into a Kirin is an idea that I've sat on for a while, A fire Bat, and a Water Elephant
In terms of the Water/Fire/Grass trios I don't have any strong opinions beyond wanting a brine shrimp "sea monkey" water type to round off the Official Elemental Monkeys even if it casts an even harsher shadow over the poor gen 5 ones. I do feel like there's enough bug types for most people to just say "I'll take this one" if offered one as a starter in place of the usual trio, even if it would piss off some people that their starter isn't one of the best in slot 'mons like they usually are. That or just steal from the Fire Red romhack Ultra Violet and have a field of random pokemon of various elements in addition to the starters. Maybe I'm thinking too much of the GC games and how they had a slimmer choice of the usual favorites unless you specifically trade them in idk.

I am the Pokemon equivalent of a boomer, I don't like anything past the original Kanto region with the exception of the Islands added by Fire Red and Leaf Green which I consider to be the best games.

Back in the day I played Red and Yellow on Gameboy Color, watched the show, saw the movie, and bounced off of the card game.

Later I played Leaf Green for GBA SP, but in the end the most fun I ever had with Pokemon was playing an emulated version of Fire Red on my phone, that was a decade ago or more.

The other day I made the mistake of watching this:

and as a result I am once again bitten by the Poke-bug. I've downloaded an emulator and a rom for Fire Red Essence, which is a romhack of Fire Red that adds the missing pokemon from Leaf Green back in among a few other changes. Now I'm almost 5 hours in playing at 2x speed and over leveling my early game team of Squirtle, Mankey, Pidgey, Pikachu, Rattata, and Jigglypuff outside Mt. Moon after beating Brock.

My main goal is to have the most overpowered Snorlax possible by feeding it all of the vitamins, but I also plan to get Zapdos because its my favorite.

Hey kids, are you ready to farm 9000+ candies for Eternatus at official events?!
GoFestFinale.webp
If you don't want to fight and catch Pokemon with Antifafags or homeless bums that wanna mug you, hopefully you can find people in your lo- oh, your area still doesn't have a lot of active players to do this Eternatus event? Well...sucks to be you, I guess. Good thing this is supposed to be a global event.

There's a bug where you can't catch raid Pokemon, and they run away even if you still have premium balls on hand. It also affects shinies in the wild (Shinies are supposed to be guaranteed catches). This bug happened to me twice, once in the wild and then in a remote raid. Origin Palkia and Dialga are available tomorrow, and I don't think they didn't fixed the bug yet. Hopefully they did something.

Kiwis, repor this video, too.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=U-iW0GTcX48I reported this under ‘Child Abuse’ because of the troongrooming.
Trannies and political slacktivists are some of the biggest reasons why Pokemon is in bad shape. That fag has a lot of cringy videos, and he can't shut the fuck up about tranny shit.

Does it feel like, to anyone else, that Gen III Pokémon don't get very much love compared to other early generations? Like yeah there's a new form here and there, but most of it is just Mega Evolutions, which are temporary forms that not every game is going to take advantage of.

no, because people love g3, what are you saying lol

At least when it comes to Mega Evolutions, Pokemon Champions will likely have them forever, same with Z-Moves, D/G Max, and Teras.

Discounting Megas like that is a pretty big asterisk. Gen III Pokemon literally have the most amount of Mega Evolutions because of ORAS.
Gen III - 20
Gen I - 15 (13 if you count Charizard and Mewtwo once)
Gen II - 6
Gen IV - 5
Gen V - 1
Gen VI - 1

Even in just XY, Gens I & III were tied for the most if you counted Charizard and Mewtwo once. And also there was Groudon and Kyogre getting their Primal forms which are basically under Mega under a different name. And the only wave of new forms introduced since then were Gigantamax forms, and only Gen I & VIII Pokemon, Melmetal, and randomly Garbodor got those. If anything, Gens II, IV, and V are the ones getting the most screwed here.

And then I guess we can talk about regional forms too. Counting it by just final forms:
Gen I - 22 (24 if we count all the Tauros forms separately)
Gen V - 7
Gen II - 5
Gen VI - 2
Gen III - 1
Gen VII - 1
Gen I has gotten the most by a large margin, and Gen V has quite a few, which I guess serves as consolation for getting ignored for Megas. But Gen III isn't doing any worse here than other Gens. In fact, Gen IV is getting screwed the hardest, no regional forms at all unless we count Sneasler as like a counterpart to Weavile.

Cross-gen evolutions? Let's count them up in a really simple way (if they got multiple like Eevee or Porygon we'll count them once, and we won't count new baby forms because you don't really use those).
Gen I - 19
Gen II - 12
Gen III - 5
Gen VIII - 2
Gen V - 1
So yeah, Gen III hasn't gotten much there since Gen IV, but also later Gens aren't any better, most cross-gen evos have gone to Gen I & II Pokemon by large margins. And again, Gen IV is getting screwed here with none at all, while even Gen V got one with Kingambit in Gen VIII.

I meant love from Game Freak, as in new forms and stuff. I feel like Mega Evolutions only partially count because, again, they're only temporary and not every game will have them anyway.

Man, I had no idea Hoenn had that many Megas, jeez. And I think it's fair for Gen IV not to have cross-gen evolutions since so much of it is already made of up of them anyway. Didn't even notice it had no regional forms, though. So damn, looks like Sinnoh has been shafted a bit too.

When the 'tism hits, it hits hard:

Hoenn13561825-2

Alola8845-(1)11
Galar96772(1)19-

This table includes anything that can be a different form, including Totems, Xerneas' neutral mode and Cosplay and Cap Pikachu. I didn't include forms like the Starmobiles or Spinda. At first some of these seem to be impressive, like Galar Pokemon having 77 alternate forms, until you realize 63 of those are recolored Alcremies. Also, the default forms weren't counted for the alternate forms, so for example on Johto the 28 forms are 27 alternate Unown + spiky-eared Pichu.
The Mega numbers in parentheses include the leaked Megas.

Also I made a separate table for cross-gen evolutions, including babies and evolutions exclusive to regionals, but working with tables in a KF post is unruly so here they are:
Kanto - 35
Johto - 19
Hoenn - 8
Unova - 3
Galar - 3

Conclusion:
Sinnoh and Alola are the most shafted regions thus far.
To no one's surprise, Kanto has the most forms by a wide margin.

This same game had a little girl who was supposedly 1000 years old and a maid that is supposed to be a cyborg. It might just be me, but I don't think you're supposed to take these random trainer NPCs that seriously.

Also, posting this "tranny" character on /vp/ is free replies for pretty much a whole day. Use that knowledge as you please.

Unova had 11 regional forms? Including Darmanitan's two forms I think that's 10 right?

Could the two Shellos and Gastrodon forms retroactively be considered regional forms? Just both in the same region?
