Another good one lost to the HRT menace(other than being a tranny)
have you'll kept up with the ZA leaks
I'm getting my leaks from r/Pokeleaks, they sound likely (with a nice mix of interesting stuff and retardation) but always take these things with the Dead Sea's worth of salt.I have been summoned.

There's a lot more where that came from, but I don't have the time to look for it all right now. I got these from these posts:

Essentially...
- Lysandre appears as an older reformed man who goes by L (lol) and has a link to Zygarde. He will be important to the plot.
- Zygarde's dog form will be seen often during the story.
- The protagonist is related to professor Sycamore.
- Jett, the protag's friend, and Lysandre are all related to AZ (this last one was already revealed in XY, just thought I'd mention).
- One of Lysandre's admins is the new professor.
- Xerosic is hiding under the name "Grisham" and has given his Malamar to Emma. Malamar has a new form and/or mega.
- Emma follows in Looker's footsteps and becomes a detective.
- Kalos starters are found in the wild and Kanto starters are given by Sycamore (lmao). Hoenn starters are in the Pokedex, probably because of their megas.
- Lucario is your first Mega. Again.
- Eternal Flower Floette has a Mega.
- You're given a Zygardite in the early game but don't know what it is until the late game (separate rant attached below).
- Xerneas and Yveltal are postgame bonuses, they get jack shit (separate rant attached below).
- There are 230 Pokemon in the game (slightly less than Arceus)
- Quasartico is the new Aether Foundation, right down to being a secretly evil company (could've seen this one coming from a mile away lol).
- There are no returning gym leaders.
- The ultimate weapon has been hidden inside the Prism Tower and was renamed "Ange". It's causing Megas to go berserk a la Dynamax in SwSh (lazy) and causing odd-looking Megas to develop in Pokemon that aren't supposed to have them.
- The ending of the XY anime has similar plot beats to the game's ending.
- Zygarde fires a blast at the end of the game that kills either AZ or Lysandre.
All the leaks seem to agree on the fact that Zygarde gets a new Mega and Xerneas and Yveltal do not, and it's a travesty. The Pokemon with 3 different forms, 5 if you count the cores and cells, gets another form (and if Ballguy is right it's just its Gundam form but naked), meanwhile the legendaries with no forms (unless you count Xerneas' neutral mode, but it's just aesthetic) get absolutely nothing. It's like GF went "oh yeah, these things exist, gotta throw them in somewhere."
Xerneas and Yveltal are the most underutilized cover legendaries in both plot and lore. All of the others are either essential to the plot (like Lunala and Solgaleo or Koraidon and Miraidon) or have cool background lore that the games elaborate on (like Lugia and Ho-Oh or Zekrom and Reshiram). Even Dialga and Palkia, who were underutilized in gen 4, got more importance in Arceus by being worshipped as deities and getting new forms (ugly as they may be).
Meanwhile Xerneas and Yveltal's role in XY's plot is just to be used as a battery for the Ultimate Weapon. That's it. You could swap them for a shard of Anistar's crystal sundial or something and the plot would be exactly the same. The only lore you get surrounding these Pokemon is some obscure NPC in Anistar that tells you what amounts to "a long time ago the Legendary appeared and healed/killed a shitton of people and Pokemon, and then it fucked off never to be seen again."
To see Zygarde hog all the glory, plot relevance and bonus forms is just surreal.
Yveltal is one of my favorites, can you tell?
