Something that makes me happy - today I was setting up a 'New' 3DS XL with all my usual homebrew and applications before packing up my previous one for sale after not using it for awhile, and I can confirm the Pokemon Bank service, along with the Transporter, still work normally to this day. Even if you have never used it before, never had a Nintendo ID before the eShop closure, you can still create a new Nintendo ID on the 3DS to this very day, and while you will need to pirate the Pokemon Bank application from something like the 3hs hShop, it will accept the newly created ID, and work just like normal, as the service was made free after the cutoff.

I realize the clock is ticking for the Bank service to be taken down, but the fact that it still works this far out after the closure, and you can still get into it even if you never accessed it before, that's great. I hope it doesn't cost them too much to keep it running.

I managed to score two Prismatic Evolutions booster bundles from yesterday’s surprise Pokémon Center restock, I’m happy that TPCi is actually doing something to combat buy bots but now I’m worried about the rise in thefts from FedEx workers (who I assume are mostly drivers).

In somewhat related news, Costco's just listed a TCG SKU that contains 2 Prismatic Evolutions ETBs and 2 Booster Bundles for $120. Unlike past PRE product drops this one won't get botted to hell and back thanks in part to Costco business model AND them actually putting a serious limit on TCG products (their online store has a limit of 1 product per regular account per week and restocks are a bit more common than on Target's and Walmart's websites).
I’ve been catching up with all of these videos coming out from people camping out in front of stores overnight to scalp purchase cards, especially the prismatic evolutions SPC at gameslop. The crashing out has made me realize something: all of these people who crowd restocks and camp out and give into FOMO all seem to be low IQ spergs. You camp out for another product of a set you know has dogshit pulls?
If it makes you feel any better GameStop is now enforcing a company-wide policy limiting the amount of Pokémon TCG products a person can buy to 1 unit per sku each. It still doesn’t do much to combat scalper groups cleaning out stores and some stores receiving small amounts of product in stores though.
You want to get into a fight over this shit set?
Unfortunately this isn’t the first time fights have broken out for trading cards, I actually posted an article a few years ago where one of these fights broke out and victim pulled a gun out on his attackers. After that happened big box stores like Target pulled their TCG products from store shelves and only sold them online (which is something that Walmart is doing for its trading card section in general).
The retarded collectorfags have motivated me to call it quits trying to buy anything else, especially with destined rivals and soon BB/WF being as heavily bought out as they are and people clearing out stores as well as breaking street dates
If you’re talking about the English releases of BB/WF being leaked people on Reddit actually located the store that did it (it was apparently a shop in Staten Island and I wouldn’t be surprised if said packs were stolen from Millennium Print Group’s facilities in NC) and they’re encouraging people report said shop to TPCi for holding stolen product.

@all tell about any time in Pokémon games you played like a moron because you didn't know you were one. Like when I pressed B on mudkip my first time ever in gen 3.
It never learned mud shot. I lost so hard to may multiple times i thought grovyle was a god.
So I restarted the game with treecko and didn't knew it would become the hardest playthrough ever with the bad type matchup of sceptile.

I want to hear your stories, go.
Years ago, when I was first into pokemon, a dubious friend once told me that if you didn't nickname your pokemon, then any others of the same species you caught would overwrite them in your box/party.

While I know it's absolute bs now, I still make it a habit that all of my pokemon that aren't from trades get a name.

No idea what this shit is, but I downloaded it and can upload it here.

Thanks. Troon possibly going through a mental breakdown because they trooned out, judging by the comments. A shame because Chickasaurus does some great glitch Pokemon and ACE research and was on Glitch City Forums as a mod prior to it shutting down. Remember years ago when this one started trooning out and some vp anons called him out for his Likes playlist having a lot of videos of typical tranny hypno stuff and creepy breastfeeding info videos before privating it.
The twitter linked on the youtube channel is privated, but I found the other one where a lot of weird, AI schizo babble talk has been going on: [1][2][3][4]

I have been summoned.

have you'll kept up with the ZA leaks
Kind of, not really. I don't bother with Twitter since everyone on there believes everything to be the gospel and keeps reposting the same fake shit over and over. I'm begrudgingly browsing /vp/ for that stuff, since the 26th leak of the starter trio showed that legit leakers do still pop up there from time to time and everyone's first reaction is to call leaks fake and gay instead of straight and true (and also the bringers of True and Honest news that will Save The Franchise).
Funnily enough, Khu and the crew being dead wrong (AGAIN) has made everyone basically give up on Z-A for leaks. Almost everything on /vp/ is about Gen 10 now, funnily enough due to (I think) the same retards pushing the original Z-A leaks now moving on to Gen 10 totally being the Cyclades islands to try and distract from their fuck-ups. Those who saw the original Khu Z-A leaks that were proven dead wrong pretty quickly seem to have either not kept up with them and just taken the A-Z list and fake descriptions as gospel and stopped bothering looking for other leaks, or lost all interest due to disillusionment with the "original leaks" being proven fake (and Gamefreak's continued silence on the game providing absolutely no fuel to the fire).

I don't remember the last time I've seen a leak season so dry, barren, and disinterested. I remember that, even when Khu and the crew were pulling their usual retardation, nobody was very interested in Z-A leaks past a week or so after Pokémon Day 2025. The hype was so incredibly flash-in-the-pan, and it has yet to recover. Even with the Teraleak providing a lot of genuine ammo for fake leaks, including the first letters of gen 10's Japanese titles, the fake leaks don't even bother to use those to try and pass themselves off as more interesting. I've seen honest attempts at a fucking third Legends game instead of Z-A, or speculation about the damn mobile app (Champions) instead of anything to do with the main franchise. People are just so thoroughly tired and not looking forward to anything. It's not even fun to make up bullshit about future games at this point.

Anyways, that's a lot of rambling to say that my go-to method for wasting time since Pokémon Day has been screencapping every single fake leak I can find on /vp/ for the fun of it. I'll post a few highlights here so that this post isn't a complete waste.

For reference, I'm going to post the fake design bullshit I was talking about earlier. Everyone took this as gospel for a month or two, despite the list being perpetuated by known liars and attention-whores exclusively, because we had literally no other information to speak of.

For almost an entire month straight, every single new "leak" had something to do with these bastards. I am leaving most of those leaks out because they were 99% bad 3D models of these or pointless reiterations of this exact slop. That 1% was people directly reposting Khu's Twitter posts, with his handle included, and claiming they were real.
(Note that this list of new megas has yet to be disproven, and has been corroborated by a leaker who correctly leaked several additions to Pocket months in advance, but all of these "designs" are complete and utter speculation. Most of them have been debunked after Khu and crew retweeted/posted several fakes while claiming them to be completely accurate to their "source." Nothing here is confirmed by any means, but the actual recipients of Megas are more likely to be real than the designs proposed for them in the images above.)

As for Khu's new gimmick, here's some shmuck reposting them:

These will be a helpful guide in explaining why so many of these gen 10 leaks look the exact fucking same, and all came around at about the same time.

I'm not sure why Brazil seemed to be such a prevalent choice of region for so long. It was like a 50/50 chance, before Khu shat out his yellow press on the matter, that any given gen 10 leak would be based on Brazil at some point. I blame Brazilians wanting to show some kind of retarded national pride.

I don't think this one is real, particularly, but I find the effort put into it rather funny.

Let's take a closer look at that image.
1748198839469.webp
This is the biggest resolution it's got. It's pretty small and crunchy, right? And pretty clearly a shoddy photoshop. But...
1748198877346.webp
It only turns up two similar results: one of the plain background (which is available on Expo 2025's website), and...
...this.

Or, well, it did when I first checked. I searched it up again before making this post, and all of a sudden it's got a bunch of news articles thrown in there too. Thing is, none of those articles have any additional text on their usage, just this image:
1748199133420.webp
which is what was used in the leak, except with a copyright in the top right that doesn't exist in the leak's image.
Most of these articles are also 7 years old, with most of them coming out around the start of 2018, and aren't exactly from huge sources.

That doesn't make this leak any more credible, just kind of interesting. Dunno why I fell down this rabbit hole, but I hope you enjoy the fruits of my very strange labor regardless.

Here's something strange: a little before the Presents, and for quite a time afterwards, people started pretending to be "insiders" at Gamefreak, posting about company goings-on as opposed to any details on the games themselves.

Why? God knows. I know this has always been a thing, but these kinds of posts saw an uptick this year for reasons unknown. My theory is that people are so incredibly sick of the mainline games that it is now more fun for them to speculate on the company. They've essentially become bored housewives, finding more entertainment in gossiping about the company responsible for this slop than speculating on the next serving of slop awaiting them, more curious about the future of a company that's made such impressively bad decisions for so long than anything to do with the products that they sell.

Alternatively, they were inspired by the Teraleak to try and look legit. Or maybe this is just due to the 30th anniversary coming up next year? Dunno. Could go either way.

Gets its own subsection because there's a few of these. This is the mobile game I was talking about earlier. People are about as interested in this as Z-A, if not more so, despite Champions' opening fucking trailer defeating the vast majority of these leaks' claims. People can't read anymore, so I'm not surprised, but it's still interesting to see enough people interested in Champions to post utter bullshit about it all the time.
1748198174038.webp1748198136999.webp1748198195422.webp1748199759582.webp

As you can see, there are barely any of these. Most of them are very low-effort and don't even try to be exciting. That, or they're completely esoteric bullshit in the vein of Khu's old riddles. People barely even bother to make these anymore. It's all about gen 10 now.
1748199803861.webp1748199821439.webp1748199837805.webp1748199869489.webp1748199931951.webp1748199943702.webp1748199972299.webp

This one is funny, because it's real. This guy posted legitimate Gamefreak documents mere minutes before the direct, and was completely bang-on.
1748197087059.webp1748197100393.webp
Nobody believed him, of course, because this shit was in the exact same format as 99% of fake leaks and the starter trio seemed so ridiculously stupid. Two Johto starters and the least-popular Unovan starter? In Poke-France? Why, that was so stupid that it was obviously fake! And that player character looked nothing like Serena... this was clearly a farce!
1748197200556.webp1748197227585.webp
Both the starter trio and the female protagonist design were confirmed real less than 20 minutes later.

Almost exactly a month later, this was posted:
1748197298027.webp1748197319307.webp1748197336955.webp
This post was pretty much ignored by everyone, falling down to page 10 within a day or two and only gaining 10-20 replies.

Despite this, I think it's got the highest chance of being real out of anything else I've posted so far. It's gone out of its way to mimic the true leak rather well, it's about something very mundane and rather obvious that wouldn't be completely outrageous to suggest, and the effort it would take to fake something like this would outweigh any benefit that posting a screenshot this mundane would provide.

I haven't seen any similar leaks since. Everything else has followed a similar format to your usual gen 10 bullshittery, with some vaguely-relevant image attached to a post with a title and some low-effort greentext, and there have barely been any leaks that are this level of mundane yet high-effort. The closest I can recall is that one grass/dragon fake from Bluesky, where some troon modeled a hyperrealistic rose-dragon model into a decent Z-A mockup and 4chan spent an entire day arguing over which way Swadloon was facing and whether that made it a real leak.
