I just wanted to add that I can't find a single person who wants a Pheromosa for a Buzzwole.
It took me like three days a month ago. It doesn't make any sense whatsoever to me. I'll be glad when the Bank updates, as it will probably make the GTS more on par with how it was in gen VI in terms of speed.

I was just gonna post about this, too. I've had a Pheromosa sitting in the GTS for awhile now. And every time a Buzzwole would come up on the GTS it was gone immediately. I finally got one about an hour ago. French, though. I was hoping for an English name, but oh well. Maybe I can trade it later

I seeked for a Female Popplio, got it and of course, the person gave it a stupid Nickname. I normally don't even do nicknames.

I dunno if I can get another Female quick enough before my trip. I am also thinking may as well just get Litten and have all of them one time.

I'm really finding myself to be rotating a lot of them. I got my Magneton and Crab Brawler, put away until I can evolve them. Also should just box my White Vulpix. She's already at Level 42 and now that she knows Blizzard, I really oughta evolve it now, but I don't even know the method. Some Ice Stone or something I hear.

I also got a Vullaby to level up and evolve. I just wish it didn't have to be in the 50s. I don't really like Vullaby's design, but looove Mandibuzz. It's not that bad.

My Gumshoos (this does have a nickname, because how could I not call it Donald Trump?) is good, but only Attack is Take Down. This line wasn't really graced with a good move pool. It does also have Super Fang as a Plan B.

I've also decided to just go with the dumb gimmicks and given all my Pokemon their poorly named items to activate Z Power. What's the point though? Jeez, all this is is spectacle.

So where am I at in the game? I dunno, I'd imagine the last Chapter of the Ula Ula Island. In the Po Town, I guess to stop Team Skull. This is an oppurtune time to Level up my Goomy and others that are Late Comers to my Party.

So I just finished up the main story in Pokemon Black. Pretty good game, though the EXP scaling made the game feel pretty tedious at times. Especially considering how late most viable 'mons tend not to evolve until the 30s+. I think the EXP scaling works way better in SuMo, since its balanced with the EXP Share in mind- which makes keeping an evenly leveled team a lot easier.

Other than that, it was pretty rad. Really should've gotten around to it sooner.

You get an Ice Stone in Po Town, iirc.

Poke Pelago isn't quote as good as Join Avenue but its still very useful. Being able to EV train 18 pokemon at once, hatch 18 eggs at once, and get things like stones and bottle caps all with minimal effort was pretty helpful. Thanks to Pelago I was able to easily get a team ready for the Battle Tree. and I've now finally finished all three super categories. I approve of Pelago.

Why don't you just play pokemon Blue if you hate change so much.
This pretty much, you seem to hate anything that changes the formula. It's not like Poke Pelago takes a lot of effort to run, once you get all of the islands and upgrades it becomes a multi-purpose facility that allows you to get free stuff even while your 3DS is turned off, there is no downsides to using it, and you could've easily gotten an Alolan Ninetales by now if you had used it.

I've had my Alolan Ninetails for days now.

And I dislike these new functions because the shimmer isn't going to last as long as you think. Remember Generation 4's "My Pokemon Ranch" diarrhea? A decade later, and that app is gone from my Wii but all the little, retardedly chibi Pokemon are all stuck in the data of the Wii. It got boring and stupid.

And I just hate how all the NPCs go so goddamn gaga over things like this. I cant progress in the game unless I check out something I have no interest in. Il Ima saying he was "impressed" I did not use my Z-Power when I went 20 years without worryin about such time-wasting spectacles.

Okay, to celebrate this thread being back, time for me to post more worthless shit.

The Pokemon Bank update finally has us being able to transfer not only Gen VI Pokemon to Gen VII, but Pokemon from the Gen I Virtual Console releases.

Though there is some compatibility issues, which I will note here:

-Pokemon that know a move they cannot learn via Level up or TM/HM cannot pass(So moves obtained via glitch and Stadium/Event moves for those to successfully transferred their cart save to the VC version, which is possible but both expensive and time consuming)
-Pay Day Mewtwo can not pass, either, even though it can learn the TM in Red/Green/Blue(But not Yellow)
-All Mew Glitch Pokemon except Mew itself can pass through just fine. Only the Mew from the Real-life event in Japan and Britain is transferable without using glitches.
-If MissingNo. is in your transferred box, it does not transfer but it shifts the name of all the Pokemon in the box down one (Like the weedle below MissingoNo. is now named MISSINGNO-, and the grimer after that is named WEEDLE)
-Mr. Mime that aren't nicknamed(aka only via the Mew glitch) are named MR- MIME when transferred
-Characters that exist in Gen I but not Gen VII, like the [pk] and [mn] symbols, are converted to the nearest thing to them in the new games (In the case of these two, P and M, repsectively)

Now for the details on the Transferred Pokemon
-Their nature is based on what their current EXP divided by 25 is.
-Gender is random
-Shininess is possible, via the having same DVs that created Shinies in Gen II but Attack and Defense are(most likely by accident) swapped
-They always have their Hidden Ability unless that species doesn't have one(so no No Guard Fissure Machamp
-All Pokemon have at least 3 Perfect IVs, except the event Mew who has at least 5
-EVs are 0 on all stats
-They have a marker that looks like a little Game Boy, similar to the Gen VI Pentagon and Gen VII Clover

Also of note is that digging through the coding of bank, we now know that there are 7 Games tied to the Gameboy marker, which means that Gen II may eventually come (since in Japan there are 4 Gen I games and 3 Gen II games), additionally there is data for Pokemon transferred from Go at some point in the future, where they also have a unique marker, a G with a circle around it.

The GTS fills me with autistic rage with how crappy it is. A lot of the time it seems like players use it to show off that they have a specific Pokemon because they ask for trades that are either impossible (ie: a level 10 Primarina) or improbable.

I think a lot of it is dumb people, honestly. That don't realize that if they get the pokemon they want it is 100% guaranteed to be hacked

People do this a lot with trade requests too, but, since that's now more difficult for those types of people to do than it was in Gen VI, I think that's why there's more of it on the GTS.

Okay. So, I gave in and bought Pokemon Moon, making me the creepiest old guy on my block. I gotta say, there is a LOT of dialogue in this game. Were Pokemon games always this wordy? Everytime Hau squints, puts his hands behind his head and says something pointless about masala, I just want to throw the 3DS across the room. Also, am I the only one that avoids using Z moves, even when I really should, because they just take so long?

That said, I love my Wimpod and will defend his honor to the death.

I always found it easier to do something reasonable like put a version exclusive up on the GTS, asking for its counterpart in return. Sun/Moon trainer battles took care of most of the sightings for me, but I still need a Celesteela, which, sadly, I can't ask for because I haven't seen it in-game.

You can ask for a mon you haven't seen in game, at least to my knowledge. You scroll down to the bottom and click "What Pokemon?" to type in the name.

So for those unaware, all of the missing Mega Stones will be released via two ways:

-Distributed online via code anyone can use.
-Handed out as prizes in online tournaments, and at a later date distributed online via code for those that couldn't sign up for the tournament for any reason.

The latter method is being used this month for Beedrillite and Mawilite, mostly likely these two were chosen due to the prominence of the Tapus in multiplayer, since both can handle them pretty well.
