Yes, but that's in the games. You specifically mentioned the movie which didn't have a Mew literally giving birth to Mewtwo.

Though honestly I don't think it matters the gender, both Mew and Mewtwo are THICC.

It's disgusting to fetishize rape (which the pokemon fanfic did). The Typhlosion acted as any creepy pedo human male does and groomed the girl into being comfortable enough to have sex with him. The pokemon employees that wrote that shit are also furries and deserve the wall. Duh!

While N is associated with Zoroarks, I'd bet on one of his parents being a Gardevoir before one of them being a Zoroark. Gradevoir have high loyalty, emphatic abilities, pale complexions, and green hair, all of which N also has. Conversely N isn't much like a Zoroark at all.

I think Sneasel is also based on the same yokai. A lot of this stuff is unknown in the west. If it weren't for Touhou I probably wouldn't have been drawn to the actual folklore. That information is easy to find now. But back when the Cyndaquil line was introduced you probably wouldn't know unless you happened to have some Japanese folklore books laying around. A lot of people still did not have regular access to the internet. I had been using it since the 90s but didn't have home internet until 2000.

They seem to be moving away from the yokai thing in recent gens. TFW no kasa-obake mon.:(
