Speaking of QR codes, the North American QR code used to get Magearna was released this morning. Scan this with your QR scanner, then go to the antique shop guy in Hau'oli Mall to pick up your fairy doll thing. Comes with a Bottle Cap, too.

(Europe gets it tomorrow because Game Freak still hates you guys)
How about Asia?

Finally managed to score a fucking Golden Bottle Cap in the Poke Pelago, so now I'm working towards grinding a Pokemon to level 100 to take advantage of it. Of course, with how Legendaries work since Gen 6, I'd personally find it better to use two or three silver caps on them, depending on the IV spread you got in the process.

European Magearna QR code when

Not finding anything about the rest of Asia, but in Japan you'll need to go see the new Pokemon movie about Volcanion and Magearna to get your code.

If you have a Japanese 3DS, you can just google the Magearna card with the QR code to get it.

Not sure if you know this, but Bottle Caps actually don't change a Pokémon's IVs. Instead, it simply raises its stats as if it had perfect stats. It's actually rather nifty, as it allows you to customize a Pokémon's Hidden Power and pass down certain IVs in breeding.

Whoever is breeding Popplio and Litten, may I have one of each? I would be willing to catch and trade something for it, just drop me a line of what you want. I have Sun so I'll be able to get Sun exclusives for them.
Do you still need these?

I don't have a level 100 pokemon yet or any bottle caps, but one thing I've been wondering about the Hyper Training stuff is will the boost stay if you trade the pokemon?

Yes, the boost will stay. Another cool thing about hyper training is that you can get a pokemon with a specific Hidden Power movetype, and that move will stay the same type even when you use a bottle cap to alter the IV. Super handy with legendaries or UB's; I was lucky enough to snag a HP Ice Xurkitree and it is smashing up the Battle Tree.

Can someone please tell me why there was a Dugtrio with hair? I think I'm going mad here...

because everything in alola is rad as hell

My Mudbray (named Artax aka "STUPID HORSE") has been my best bud in my first Sun game, followed by my main nigga Mimikyu (Peekaboo) and my surprisingly rad female Crabrawler (Adrian). I also have a Lurantis (Fleur) and a Starmie (Ringo).

What's a good pokemon to finish off my team? (I'm in Po Town, btw.)

Dugtrio's glorious flowing hair has me in stitches everytime I see one. It's amazing.

'm gonna catch one and nickname it Fabio.

also I wonder traded and got a shiny snivy, which is probably hacked. I keep trading the ones I don't want, it seems to be working so far.

A Fire or Ice type with a decent special attack, considering what you're already using, could be helpful. Arcanine, Flareon, Glaceon, Salazzle, Magmortar, Turtonator, Glalie, or Vanilluxe could all fit that role without giving you three Pokemon weak to a single type.

Ah geez guys, you're making it hard for me to wait until I can buy Sun.
On an unrelated topic though, I'm stuck with Pokemon X in the meantime and was curious if one (or some) of you could explain the pros and cons of Sun/Moon in comparison to X/Y. Just wanna know what I'm getting into and if it's really worth it. Sure seems like it based on all the trailers I watched, but I don't own the game yet.

Also, would ya'll mind help me out with another thing if it isn't too much? Does KF have a Pokemon wonder trade/trade thread? If so, what could/should I trade my shiny Charizard and shiny Greninja for?

Finally got my mitts on a copy of Moon! I've just finished the first trial and I'm loving it.

I'm after a baby Alolan Vulpix to finish off my team, preferably Modest, if anyone can help a Chanbob out please?

Oh, I know, I'm just saying that with Legendaries having 3 guaranteed perfect IVs, Golden Bottle Caps seem like a waste to me, when compared to a mon with a good nature, good ability, with only one, if any good IVs. But yeah, that is a nice boon for HP users.
