I have a powersave so I can literally make any pokemon shiny (shiny locked ones can't be traded obviously)

I've got a Powersave, too, but I'm confused about the whole "Powersave Prime" thing on the website that says you have to pay to use the codes (unless you want to wait until January to get them for free). Do they actually work or do you have to buy the Powersave Prime?

I fucking WANT it.

I paid about a dollar Canadian to get one "power point" which I used to unlock the codes for moon, now I have access forever

I don't know how it didn't click before, but is the Anabel here in Alola really the same Battle Frontier Brain Anabel from the animated series? The one who spoke to Poke'mon and had a crush on Ash? Because the two have the same name, purple hair, similar hair style, and purple eyes.

One of the Memories Anabel still had is that she is from Hoenn. In the anime the Battle frontier was spread throughout Kanto, so they could advertise both FRLG and Emerald at the same time. So I'm 100% sure it's the Anabel from Emerald version's Battle Frontier and not her anime counterpart

So I've been doing a lot of Wonder Trading today, and have come across several pokemon in Ultra Beast balls that were allegedly bred. In trying to figure out if these are hacked, I've gotten conflicting information from different websites. While I've found some people claiming that you can breed down Ultra Beast Balls, I've found other websites that say the catch rate for using Ultra Beast Balls on normal pokemon is absurdly low.

I'm wondering if anyone here has gotten pokemon like this and if they seemed hacked. (At least two of the ones I got showed signs of hacking).

That catch rate is super ass low, but they can be caught and bred down. I got a Mimikyu in Wonder Trade that was in one, and the ones I've breed from it sometimes end up in the balls.

Beast Balls have a 0.1x Success rate on non-Ultra Beasts. This is the only instance thusfar where a Pokeball has a less than x1 Catch rate. Also fun fact all non-Beast Balls except Master Ball have a flat x1 Catch Rate on Ultra Beasts. For those unaware x1 is the Capture rate of a normal Pokeball.

The highest non-Master Ball Modifier right now is x5, though Heavy Ball might be better under certain conditions because it oddly uses Addition instead of Multiplication for Catch Rate in every game it's been usable in unlike any other Pokeball that has ever existed.

Master Balls(And Dream Balls and Park Balls(The Pal Park ones)) have a catch rate of x255, which means it's impossible to miss(outside of gen I if you got a catch rate overflow)

the handholding in this game is dumb and gay, the rival is gay and unrealistic and I want my 40 dollars back.
it's a shame because I thought gamefreak would do something fun for once and I liked the cute owl.

As others have mentioned, it is possible to catch normal Poke'mon in a Beast Ball, but the chance is extremely low. I imagine people were throwing excess Beast Balls for kicks n' giggles and wound up successful; I've been tempted to do the same because I have over 30 leftover Beast Balls and they're worthless to the shops, so there's no point in me selling them.

It's kinda scary how quickly I fell in love with Guzma's character. Been rocking his theme at the Battle Tree, seriously can't get enough of it. Team Skull in general just has this rougish sort of charm. The tank was a must buy.

I've told my sister I want a 3DS and Pokemon Moon for Christmas (she acts as Santa for my family), but I need to figure out which model...

Anyway, my planned team so far includes Rowlett, Salazzle, and Icy White Vulpix, of course. I'm also thinking of getting a Popplio to help introduce me to the Fairy-Type since I missed out last Gen. I guess the rest depends on what other Kalos or Older Pokemon I am interested in.

Tell me, are there a good number of Kalos Pokemon? Goomy, Klefki, and others I kinda like?

Three things:

-Alolan Vulpix is a Sun exclusive, you'll need to trade with someone
-Cutiefly would be an easier Fairy to get to try out the type, it's on the first island around level 10 with a Fairy attack and everything. By comparison Popples doesn't become part fairy until the mid thirties.
-Only 14 out of the 72 Kalos Pokemon are available, 7 of which are fully evolved and one which is a legendary. This does not include the Honedge line, which is available via island scan, and the Ash Greninja from the demo, who for most purposes is and entirely different Pokemon from normal Greninja.

I just picked up a Cyndaquil via Island Scan. It is cool to be able to get all the starters like that.

You can get Cyndaquil, Totodile, and Chikorita, as well as Serperior, Emboar, and Samurott.

I agree it's very cool. And I guess they left out the Gen I, Gen III, and Gen VI starters because they were already represented/made available last Gen. Poor Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup, though.

Speaking of QR codes, the North American QR code used to get Magearna was released this morning. Scan this with your QR scanner, then go to the antique shop guy in Hau'oli Mall to pick up your fairy doll thing. Comes with a Bottle Cap, too.

(Europe gets it tomorrow because Game Freak still hates you guys)

EDIT: I should also mention that a) to pick up your Magearna you'll need to beat the main story first; and b) there is no expiry for this QR code, so there's no rush.
