Did you enjoy EE? I remember liking it but finding it a bit buggy.
It ia buggy and I was locked out of several quests, the romance stuff is totally cringe vit I loved the expansion to the normal hoenn map, the new mons, the quest system, the freedom to not use HM, fast travels and so on.

I'm currently playing thru Revelation Emerald and I am having a blast. Well, I'm a little frustrated because the romhack locked the Kanto starters and Celebii behind the 12 minute tier in Trainer Hill and I'm having trouble finding any good tips and tricks for it, but the rest of the game is very good. I'm planning to do a short writeup about it once I am 100% done, but it's essentially what would happen if Emerald got an even more updated version, it's the ultimate way to experience Gen 3 Hoenn with all the QoL changes you can think of, but minimum changes to the actual game mechanics except for physical/special split that only makes the game better. Playing thru the game was like playing Emerald for the first time all over.
Gonna look into it.

I heard that Hoenn Adventures is good.
I also have a hack directory in my profile shout page.
Thanks man

kill yourself zoomer
Save yourself zoomer.
Didn't know going outside was a "Zoomer" thing but O.K.

Also
>implying I'm a zoomer

Double Also:
Gatcha games that hate you are not the way.
>implying I use actual money to buy things in the game
How are you fucking idiots playing this game? You can EASILY not spend a DIME on this thing and still have enough items in stock.

Only time I've gotten those golden pokemon coins is when I leave my pokemon at the gyms and I only spend them to increase my item bag capacity. Last time I touched this thing (which was like months ago) i had like 200 great balls. Once you git gud at curveballing, shit is easy as fuck.

Who the hell is still unaware Bug beats Ghost and Dark due to Kamen Rider-induced bug=hero logic?
I always assumed it was because bugs have weird sense organs and like, prismatic full-spectrum super vision that disarms those types’ trickery or something, but “it’s like Kamen Rider” makes a lot more sense.

Strong against/weak against is pretty easy to remember, but resistances always trip me up. Fire resisting fire at least makes sense,

Pokemon types make way more sense if you think of them in terms of a kid, which I guess makes sense. Ghost resists bug and poison because ghosts aren't physical beings and can't be poisoned or bit. Poison resists bug because IRL bugs are only dangerous if they are poisonous. Bugs don't resist poison, because you can still poison a bug.

Likewise with a lot of other type relationships. Why is Psychic weak to dark, bug, and ghost? Because they are the most common fears. Electric resists flying because birds die flying into power lines. Fighting resist dark because honorable fighters always win over those who cheat and play dirty.

Fire resisting fire at least makes sense,
As a general rule, types that were considered special before generation IV resist their own type, while types that were considered physical take at least neutral damage from their own type.

The exception to this on the special side is Dragon, which does not resist itself. The exception on the physical side is Steel, which does resist itself.

Someone once raised a good point about Fairy being weak to Steel and Poison being rooted in folklore, but on the other hand, Steel and Poison were both fucking wretched offensively (Steel only SE against the defensively-laughable Rock and Ice types, Poison only hit Grass) while Dragons needed a nerf post-Salamance/Latios/Garchomp/etc.

As a general rule, types that were considered special before generation IV resist their own type, while types that were considered physical take at least neutral damage from their own type.

The exception to this on the special side is Dragon, which does not resist itself. The exception on the physical side is Steel, which does resist itself.

Poison also resists itself. Except for Ghost, Poison, and Steel, every physical type hits itself neutrally. They really should make Normal SE against Normal. Bring back Snorlax Supremacy.
