...please let Ohmori go. Please. Literally anyone would be better at directing this poor franchise than him at this point.
Agreed. I'm fucking tired of dogshit levelling curves where the answer to the forced exp share is to let your faves rot in the box (this is literally what he's said players should do, how the fuck did someone this retardedly out of touch get a leading position?), and I'm tired of every single game having an obligatory out-of-place karoshi "joke" like the boss is trying to normalize the overwork caused by the shitty release schedule (the ship in ORAS, Nanu, Piers, Larry, poor fucking Kieran... why does it keep fucking happening? tee hee silly employees, being overworked until you want to die only happens to our funny cartoon characters, now get back to pumping our our soulless glop... it's just so fucking weird man). I just wanted to see a proper Z version someday that actually had some respect for the original games and expanded their mysteries and shit, but judging by the limp-dicked promotion comparable to the original ORAS trailers it's just gonna be the same shit. And it's probably going to be the same subversionist retardation as Leg-ends Arse-us too. God I hate modern Pokemon.

Games like emerald and platinum makes the previous entries nearly obsolete.
I always hated mainline pokemon being split in 2 games and then release a 3rd game that adds more content later.
On the other hand, I'd rather play Red/Blue instead of Yellow. I will always hate the fact that you could never evolve your Pikachu because the game was tied to the anime, therefore Raichu was completely unobtainable unless you traded for one or evolved it in another game then sent it back to your game.

That and Missingno just makes the original games 10x more fun.

Pokemon yellow does have different brands of missingnos obtainable with ditto glitch, said glitch also makes any gen 1 game completable without trades, making them both a valid choice for a playtrough.
Gold/silver vs crystal is a matter of asking yourself "do you think the battle tower, extra ruin of alph trash and qol features are worth 6-7 missing pokemons?", I do like ampharos and girafarig, they are 2 of my favourite so I do kinda prefer Silver over the other 2.
Emerald and platinum on the other side have way too much new shit added for me not to prefer them over the RS and DP, having missing pokemons is jewish but whatever, you need like a dozen different games and event in order to complete the pokedex in each title anyway.

I hate to defend Niantic here but the Masterwork Research task that dropped today, like most Masterwork Research tasks, is meant to be done over a long period of time. The news page detailing the event even mentions that the Masterwork Research doesn’t expire so long as you log in once during the initial time period.
Yea, you keep the questline after the update. Thanks for that. I thought it was a fomo.

I mean the first announcement that a Pokemon game is being made is kind of like that. Trailers usually come later. Thing is the promotion said next year at the earliest so we weren’t ever going to get a trailsr any time soon. So it just seems weak because the wait time is way longer than usual.

I think part of the reason why folks assume it'll end is due to the second Master Ball questline having a deadline in addition to being a paid one.
I hate whoever went "hurr durr it's pronounced RKS." NOA Treehouse-tier localization.
Blame the British for "forcing" TPCi having to go with the "ar-kee-us" pronunciation over the "ar-see-us" one.

I mean Sun/Moon was the first time it wasn't the case. But its definitely true for the pre-3DS titles and autistic migration systems.

Do you have a source for this? Genuinely curious.
Bulbapedia says that it's from Tom Wayland, the anime's dub director at the time of Arceus's reveal, saying that the change was made due to the soft-c pronunciation haaving similarities to "arse". Bulbapedo unfortunately doesn't cite a source but considering that the soft-c pronunciation has only been used in two pieces of Pokémon media (2006's Pokémon Battle Revolution and, of all fucking things, 2019's Detective Pikachu film) I'm inclined to believe that it's true.

The hard C reminds me of the biblical Ark (both the boat and the shiny nazi-melting box) so it never bothered me. I never understood why its pronunciation was controversial.

That just seems absurd. Literally no one made arse jokes back in the day about arceus besides maybe the rare webcomic where they get stuck in a fence to explain the giant rings in its design. Even then people just treated Ar-cee-us the same as pronouncing any other legendary's name.

For posterity's sake: the PokeRogue community is actively imploding because the game creator stepped down and included religion as part of his reason for stepping down. In the discord server, the mods are eating each other in the name of trans rights and the subreddit lost its brand new mod after they went on a banning spree.

Reddit is gay but this is a brief rundown that a user has given:
