You've clearly never read Pokemon Special / Adventures, shit was pretty dark for the early generations.

Never forget Pokemon: Night of the Living Dead edition:

Also, in the same chapter an Arbok gets cut in half:

Yep, great times. The Gold / Silver chapters also had the main villain using brainwashed child soldiers, and in the Emerald chapters they had Archie straight up murder Maxie to get ultimate power. I had stopped reading it during the Diamond / Pearl chapters, so I don't know if they continued the trend. I can only imagine what they would have had Cyrus and Ghetis do when they showed up.

Shiny Genesect and/or Shiny Beast Trio would be amazing!

Also, Pokemon Generations started airing the other day. If you're unaware, Pokemon Generations is an ongoing animated Youtube series that aims to flesh out the events from 20 years of Pokémon games. The episodes are only 3 minutes long but still pretty great.

The first episode shows Looker trying to hunt down Giovanni, Team Rocket's leader.

It's actually pretty fucking amazing and definitely more mature than the main anime series. Like, they literally show a Pokemon SWAT team performing a raid on El Chappo Giovanni's house.
It's cool seeing them use Pokemon differently, like Magnamite hacking the door.

I love how the popo had their Pokeballs in holsters, which brings me to one point about the lack of guns. Who needs them when you have shit that can punch through walls, or giant fire breathing dogs that can fucking melt holes through walls? Nevermind how such Pokemon could fuck a person up.

This is easy to explain, you need guns in the Pokemon world just in case a child falls into Slaking's cage and you need to destroy him with no questions asked. A Pokemon would've just fainted him, that bitch needed to die for our sins. Dicks out.

I looove the trainer customization. And I'm glad you don't have to wear a hat in this game!

Also Eevee's Sailor Moon attack.

Very lightly disappointed that the Lycanroc forms are pure Rock, but not enough to where I won't be using one.

Happy that trainer customization is back, too, and the money designs are interesting. They seem like they're really built for double battles based on the Receiver ability and Instruct move, so I'm curious to see how they'll play in-game.

Pikachu and Eevee's Z-Moves seem adorably hilarious, though Eevee's is more of a "severely boost all my stats" rather than pummel the enemy into the dirt.

And grooming Poke'mon now instead of Poke'mon Amie. It kinda looks like the Eevee shown in the trailer for that bit was paralyzed and you're able to cure it through that process, but I don't want to really confirm that since it didn't explicity say that was a thing.

So is everything going to have sun/Moon exclusives evolutions? I'm not opposed to that but it seems a bit excessive, at least it'll have good replayability value when I go to play sun. I'm hyped for the games though.

I can't believe we still have to wait two more months! These games look so amazing!

It looks like they actually expanded the trainer customization feature, at least with regards to physical traits (hair color, eye color, hairstyle, etc). Also, still no confirmation on whether Mega Evolution is returning or not. Instead we got Z-Moves and Alola Forms. I'm starting to think that they ditched Mega Evolution, which would be very weird considering how it was such a major focus in the Gen VI games.

chinese leak
Don't know if this was already said, but Pokemon Sun and Moon are going to be the first main series games officially released in China (PRC).

At one point the PRC government banned vidya and the ban wasn't lifted until 2014.

Also, still no confirmation on whether Mega Evolution is returning or not.
I hope they bring back the pokemon following you thing from HGSS, and the free flying thing from ORAS.

The Poke'mon website is being shit with me, but I imagine it's getting high traffic at the moment.

From what I could pull from it, Poke'mon Refresh does allow you to cure team members of any status ailments (poison, paralysis, etc.) so that further takes away the need for healing items. There was also stuff on their website about how the Poke'mon Bank will be receiving an update in January 2017 to support Poke'mon Sun and Moon and any retro games (Poke'mon Red, Blue, Yellow, etc.) will become compatible with the Poke'mon Transfer feature that you used in the Black/White games.

I know in the Chinese leaks there was mention that the starters had something in common with Rockruff, and should these leaks be considered accurate at this point, I think that would mean the starters will have version exclusive evolutions. Personally I wouldn't mind it if that were the case.

And lol the community calling Oranguru "Harambe". Harambe wasn't an Orangutan and I imagine Oranguru's design was going underway long before the Harambe incident. Just let the meme die already.

@Bluebersaur, I'm not trying to shit on you man, but please spell it "Pokemon" like a normal human being. I don't know if English is your first language, but if it isn't, please note that accents are normally dropped in English text and only used for logotypes.
