I remember making up a mosquito pokeyman when I was younger. I just envisioned a giant mosquito though. Not that buff mosquito guy.

Rockruff's evolution actually appears to be two forms of the same Pokemon, which you get depending on the time of day when they evolve. That's not to say that they don't have different types, abilities, and the like, but they're both named in the scans as "Lugarugan."

If they "share a secret" with the final forms of the starters, my guess would be that they also have different forms depending on the time of day when they evolve.

It seems to be that Beauty is exclusive to Moon and Expansion is exclusive to Sun. Regardless of if we can actually catch them or not, I look forward to combat against muscle mosquito.

Also that poster really makes it look like they're after the Yokai Watch audience. A little worrying, since the animation for this past Pokemon season was pretty awesome, so here's hoping they don't mess it up after making the anime entertaining again.

It seems like this confirms the "Rockruff's evolution is a werewolf" leak. At this point I'm seriously considering that those final evolution leaks are real.

Anyway, can I just say how fucking pumped I am for these games? Seriously, every new update just raises the hype even more. November can't come fast enough.

The Japanese trailer was more Clear on this. Basically Moon is 12 hours ahead (effectively making AM and PM reversed). So 2 PM IRL is 2 AM in Moon version.

I'm still leaning towards getting Moon at this point, but honestly that seems kind of annoying and gimmicky. Oh well, I guess I'll get used to it.

I planned on getting Moon because I like Lunala and I dig night-time scenery, but now that I've seen Rockruff's night evolution, that's just another incentive to get it; fucker looks badass. I'm thinking it'll be Rock/Dark, should it keep it's part Rock typing on evolving.

I was feeling kind of meh about Moon being night while it was day because I like daytime in-game but I realised I usually play games from 6pm to after midnight so it'd be day in my game anyway. And I think the doggo evolutions aren't version exclusive anyways.

The biggest change is Fairy type, which has retconned some Pokemon that were previously Normal Type and is also a hard counter to Dragon.

If they keep it the same in Sun/Moon, you get EXP when you catch stuff now and the EXP Share is a key item that gives EXP to the entire party instead of just one Pokemon.

Also Wonder Trade is you friend, take advantage of it to get rid of Pokemon you don't need; while you might get shit trades you could luck out and get something rare or a legendary (I've gotten three legendaries through wonder trade). Also, Wonder Trading gets you PokeMiles, which you can usually use to buy items from a salesman in one of the PokeCenters.

Mega Evolutions were added, which are temporary battle-only evolutions. Looks like this game will mix it up even more with stuff like Z moves.

This seems a bit sketchy, since Beauty and Expansion are referred to as the same Ultra Beast. If anything, I think all the Aether members are going to get an UB that is 'tied' to them in some way, but I have no idea what. It does seem interesting that all the UB's so far take design influences from pests.
