Will mega-evolution be available in Sun and Moon ? Please tell me it's not going to be quietly ignored in favor of that new gay dance supermove.
I doubt they'll get rid of it. I imagine that it may be a post-game thing, though, especially if they want to emphasize the z-moves. I can't see z-moves being very useful competitively, except maybe with a speedy, late-game sweeper. Honestly, it just feels like a "win button" for the Brianna Wus of the world. Will mega-evolution be available in Sun and Moon ? Odd that flying types aren't weak to flying moves. In RPGs flying ones tend to be weak to wind-related spells/moves.Old but still relevant.
HiddenDoorway said:It seems like every person has a different idea of what the Chinese leaks are, and if you're going to talk about them you might as well at least know what they say.
- There is only one 'Chinese Leak'. Stop referring to literally every leak as a Chinese leak. The leak with the alolan forms, the one with the white pidove, the obviously fake Pokedex leak, etc. have nothing to do with this leak. It's also important to note that the reference sheets of the three starter evolutions is not this leak either, although it does mention the starter evolutions and they do match up with those images.
- The leak never states that diamonds in the logo will allow Pokemon to transform. It says that the bracelet works by using stones that 'strengthen moves' and says that there is one for each type. It also says that there is another type of stone that you can collect that will allow Pokemon to transform, and this is how Ash Greninja transforms.
- In the actual post it literally says that the OP got the information from a relative working for the Chinese translation team, now that China is apart of the worldwide release. Because of this, it uses many terms that don't match up with the terms we know in English. But that's because they have different terms in Chinese (And really every language has different terms for these things) for things like Kahunas and Totem Pokemon. It says that there are no Gyms and instead they are replaced by Island Captains, and that the elite four is replaced by island Kings. It also mentions powerful Pokemon that control certain districts of each island named 'Overlords'. Island Captain, Kings, and Overlord Pokemon are the Chinese terms for Trial Captains, Kahunas, and Totem Pokemon respectively.
Here is everything the Chinese leak has stated and gotten right:
- There are Trial Captains, Kahunas, and Totem Pokemon. The official Chinese names are also used correctly.
- This is only partially correct, but it mentions that the new bracelet will have something to do with the strength of moves.
- New Pokemon include a Fire/Poison lizard (Salandit), a mushroom (Morelull), and a sea cucumber (Pyukumuku).
Here is everything the Chinese leak has stated and hasn't been confirmed:
- Trial Captains replace Gym Leaders, Kahunas replace the Elite Four.
- Part of the story will be Kukui encouraging the player to create a standard Pokemon League in Alola.
- Similar to Mega Evolution, some stones can be collected that will allow Pokemon to transform.
- PokeRide allows basically every Pokemon to be ridden.
- New Pokemon include a Rockruff evolution that is a werewolf, a snowman, a ball throwing monkey (Many translate this as Rugby Monkey, and that's probably what it is, but it's not absolutely certain), and a dolphin Pokemon. Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio evolve into an archer, wrestler, and siren respectively.
- The trademarked Pokemon 'Marshadow' has a unique typing.
I really don't care if you believe it or not, and there are parts of it that are very clearly bullshit, like nearly every Pokemon being able to be ridden via PokeRide. But I'm just kind of tired of everyone talking about it without actually knowing what it says.
I think it's just the perspective. Like the "picture" was taken right up close to the table. Is it me, or is that Cubone really fucking huge?
It's actually supposed to be part of a stereotypical Japanese bandit attire, known as a hokkamuriEvil Mustashed Rattata.
