Only one that I've seen was mindlessly praising the visuals.

As for the woke sperging, I really don't care. It was kind of inevitable with the Unova games and the franchise was always about catering to the consoomers, which shouldn't be that big of an surprise as to whatever the fuck this spergout is about. It's been done with One Piece, Guilty Gear, Fire Emblem, Saints Row, Animal Crossing... There isn't much that can be done outside of pirating shit or actually generating some competition against them.

Wait, so even in the base game the pokemon isn't taken away, just copied? I will have to do some research into this, but that will make things easier if so.
I was always disappointed that game wasn't another GC era RPG, I believe that was one of the reasons it failed. Now, Genius Sonority(assuming it's still around) is forever stuck in the mobile mines because of it, you hate to see it

Same here. Good thing I just got into Pokemon Radical Red so I can still use the new pokemons if I'm curious about them, while having a great time playing a not retarded game.

That makes Let’s Go even weirder if they took the criticism from X/Y and decided “we should do the exact same thing but for a different race this time”.

I'm hoping against hope that they finally remaster Coliseum and XD, cause until Game Freak gets their shit together that's probably the only way I'd buy a Pokémon game after Gen 9. Unfortunately, I know it's probably never going to happen, but at least there's a XD Romhack that seems to have some of the later changes they made to the series. Hell, I'd take a sequel to Pokémon fucking Conquest at this point, and that game was a bloated motherfucker as far as side stories.

Notice how a lot of the better Pokémon games weren't actually made by Game Freak themselves? At this point they just need to outsource that shit...
 
How hard would it have been to give the mom character the same color palette as the one you pick for your character at the beginning of the game? They can do it, since the NPC trainers in the new games can have varying skin tones and hair colors.

Shout out to Gen 3 for being the only Gen where the player characters father is somewhat around - admittedly like, 2 towns over as a Gym Leader, but the bars low enough that it counts.
