Gamefreak, why did you have to make a Pokemon that looks like it's wearing a diaper? Just why...

"Because it exudes a delicious smell from its entire body, Bounsweet is popular with Pokémon and people of the Alola region. Bounsweet’s scent has a calming effect on humans, so many people let them live inside their homes as a sort of air freshener. Unfortunately, it’s sometimes swallowed whole by Pokémon drawn to its aroma. When running away from other Pokémon, Bounsweet flees danger by skipping along the ground. Since its bouncy movements don’t convey to others that it’s actually in desperate flight, no one ever comes to its aid."

Glad to see the return of disturbing Pokedex entries.

People in Alola are scared of Kiteruguma to the point of having warning signs about it. It is really strong and can break anything in two. It likes to hug its trainers but is strong. Raising one puts your life in danger.
Glad the description is as funny as the Pokemon looks.

Hey, so does anybody here use the Pokemon Bank/Transporter? I'm wondering if it's possible to save Pokemon to the bank and then start a new game and import them into the new save file. I'd like to try a Nuzlocke run or a one-type run, but I don't want to lose all the Pokemon I worked hard for.

Glad to see what Mimikyu's Disguise ability does; looks like it lets them take one free shot without damage.

I use the bank, and yes, once you store all of your Poke'mon into the bank, resetting the game you took them from will not cause them to disappear.

So if I was to restart my game and incorporate say, a Blitzle into my party early in the game, how does that work Pokédex- wise? Blitzle only registers in the National Dex once you finish the game (Im talking about X and Y here).

It will just be marked as #??? but once you get the national dex it will be registered

Either you'll still get it and it just won't register in your Pokédex until you get the NationalDex or it'll say 'cannot be transferred to game.'

I personally want to see how hard Mudsdale's ability Stamina could be abused. For every hit it's defense goes up one stage; in a double battle, using a weak multi-hit move could make it a serious wall, if it's base defenses are good enough, though the description of it on the official site make me think it could also be a strong hitter. I'm hoping it'll be pretty balanced offense/defense wise because I seriously want to use one of these things in my game.

Also priority-healing with Comfey sounds potentially broken as well, depending one what they really classify as "healing moves".

There are too many good abilities coming out with these ones jfc. But I'm glad they're actually making some new ones and not just churning out the same shit under a different name with all of them.

Hoo boy, wait until the guro part of the pokemon fandom learns this! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° )

Ugh or the fuckin' vore-fags :cryblood:

I know what fan art I'm drawing this week. :tomgirl:

I'm really liking the new Pokemon. With the new abilities, there's a ton of new strategies one could come up with. Mimikkyu's ability is especially useful. Plus, there's some great designs and more fairy Pokemon! I personally really like Comfey. Have a wip painting:

Tonight is the last night to get Shaymin in North America, Europe & Australia, I grabbed three extra's in case someone missed the event.

How many new Abilities are we at now? Almost every single new Pokemon has a new one.
Fluffy confirmed for being Fur Coat, only it's worse.
It's slightly different. Fur Coat is based on physical damage (rather than special), while Fluffy is based on moves that make contact (like 99% of which are physical moves). It's not a huge difference, but one exists. It's probably not worth adding a Fire weakness, though, although I suppose that depends on its stats.
