I didn't hear about the second half of that description. That's so sad. Weirdly it's made me like Mimikkyu more and I want to play with the sucker in Poke'mon Amie.

I missed that last part as well. Ouch. Between that, the design, and the neat typing, I'll probably end up using one on my team, alongside a Litten and like four Rockruffs.

Oh, and I think those two slits on its belly must be eyeholes. That explains why the head flops over to one side. Plus, you can see them glimmer in the picture where it sends out an arm to attack. Aww, Mimikkyu...

Fun fact: I once used my Master Ball on a Pelipper in Ruby and Sapphire when I was in third grade. It still makes me cringe to this day.

I used one on a Clefairy in Yellow.

I hadn't looked at Serebii to see these two; I'm subscribed to quite a few Youtubers that do Poke'mon stuff and they all hopped in with their opinions on the two not long after they were released, and none of them had mentioned the part where Mimikkyu looked like Pikachu because it wanted to be loved.

Base on the image with the eye-glimmer, arm coming out, and the fact Pikachu's head is tilted over with the costume, Mimikkyu might be a sort of shadow-blob type of thing underneath that cloth, a bit like how people believe Tangela is some black ball with legs underneath all the vines. Could be using another hand to hold the shaped stick or maybe has some sort of slot in the cloth to place it in.

I just want to use one when the games come out. What would a Ghost/Fairy type be weak to, anyways? Poison and Dark, maybe, or would the Fairy part resist the Dark typing?

Both of those are neutralized by the other typing. Fairy resists Dark, while Ghost resists Poison. So Steel and Ghost would be the weaknesses.

Ghost/Fairy would be weak against Ghost and Steel. Its only resistance would be against Bug types, but it would also have three immunities (Normal, Fighting, and Dragon).

They might think that's too close to Pumpkaboo, but I hope they do name it Pikaboo because that is way too perfect of a name.

My only critique is with the tails on Charmander and Squirtle not being consistent with the wooden Pikachu tail on the official design but they're still cute.

I didn't actually notice pikaboo had little eyes on his tummy and that those were his real eyes.

While I love the idea of Pikaboo being a sad shy little ghost trying to make friends, what if it's an evil entity using peoples' love of Pikachu to get closer to its prey?

Holy shit. I think Mimikkyu is the saddest Pokemon yet (well, maybe aside from Cubone. Being Cubone is suffering). It's a ghost Pokemon that wears a crappy Pikachu cloth in a desperate attempt to be loved.
