I went with 15, and I noticed that most, if not all of them were mostly in flat colors if white wasn't used, which looked a fair bit more pleasing to my eyes.

And with shinnies, it's mostly white city as almost all of them has one form of white as the changed color, especally with Porygon-Z and Iron Valiant (the latter is a few changes away from looking like they forgot to put the texture on it at all)

Looking at the results from other users who had the Scorbunny line in thier lists, it's funny that the shiny version is effectivly them just using various shades of black or brown fur like they couldn't find a way to not niggerfy the fur color

Back on the hack, I have 33 spaces (not including ones taken by Pokémon Crystal exclusive items), while I can recycle 24 more, since they are Key Items, Apricorns, , and pointless by-trade items. In case some Paradox Pokémon rely on them, I will not replace Pokémon-exclusive held items just yet.
  • SilverLeaf
  • RedScale
  • SecretPotion
  • SSTicket
  • SilverWing
  • GoldLeaf
  • RedApricorn
  • BluApricorn
  • YlwApricorn
  • GrnApricorn
  • WhtApricorn
  • BlkApricorn
  • PnkApricorn
  • CardKey
  • MachinePart
  • LostItem
  • BasementKey
  • Pass
  • DragonScale
  • UpGrade
  • SquirtBottle
  • ParkBall
  • RainbowWing
  • BrickPiece
I also plan on changing the following items:
  • Metal Powder aises the Defence of Ditto and Animon.
  • The Pink Bow raises Fairy-type moves. (I got hat from Pokémon Polished Crystal.)
  • The Polkadot Bow is renamed to the 'Silk Scarf'.
  • The Lucky Egg raises EXP by 100% instead of 50%.
  • The Coin Case is renamed to the 'Glitcher' in case people wan to have fun with ACE glitches.
  • I plan on keeping the Slowpoke Tail, but I am not sure on what effect should the Slowpoke Tail have.
  • The Up-Grade might ake the place of the aforementioned Soylent. Either way, the Up-Grade or Soylent will be a sort of Evolution Stone that now evolves the previou stage into the Future Paradox form, since @Disc mentioned that Paradox formes lose BST compared to their present forms. Th exception is Cyclizar, Magikarp, and Delibird, since they are already in their lowe stages.
  • In the same way, the Paleo Feed (or maybe the Brick Piece) is an Evolution Stone that evolves the previou stage into the Past Paradox form. Th exceptions are Cyclizar, Magikarp, and Misdreavus.
In short:
  • Phanpy → Paleo Feed/Brick Piece → Great Tusk
  • Phanpy → LV 25 → Donphan
  • Phanpy → Soylent/Up-Grade → Iron Treads
The New Key Items are:
  • Rotom Phone: Rotom runs all sorts of handy apps.
  • Sandwich: A fantastic picnic meal.
  • Tera Orb: Terastallizes Pokémon when charged.
  • KoraidonBall: A Pokéball than holds Koraidon.
  • MiraidonBall: A Pokéball than holds Miraidon.
  • Scarlet Book: Sado's book of the Great Crater.
  • Violet Book: Turo's book of the Great Crater.
  • Kofu Wallet: A wallet that Kofu left behind.
On what items I might add, depending on my ability...
  • Poison Stone
  • Ice Stone
  • Link Cable
  • The Flutes (five)
  • The Weather Rocks (four)
  • Broken Berry (cures infatuation, name refers to a broken heart)

Not much changed since last time in my Nuzlocke, didn't play very much.
I'm at Mossdeep town and beat the twins, my team looks still the same it did last time, just about seven levels higher and Magnemite is on par with the others.
I failed to get frosslass, the snorunt i first encountered in shoal cave was male.
Last hope for a good Grumpig replacement is Medicham in victory road, otherwise i have to take skarmory to e4.
Hoenn gets pretty boring after Winona. Cant wait to finish OR, Sun is next.

I was breeding Slowpokes and thought this would be an appropriate name.

If Slowpok evolves, then he would be President Joe Biden.
I am referring to the 'Joe Biden is a puppet president' heory... one which I subscribe. Whenever Slowpok evolves, the Shelder is usually the one in charge, especially if Slowpok evolves into a Galarian Slowking, where the Shellder is the one pretty much puppeteering the Slowpoke.

Not that I've played any Switch Pokemon games, but I thought Legends Arceus was lauded as being a great entry with fresh new mechanics and good execution? Let's Go always looked butt ugly to me so I didn't bother picking it up.
You'd think right! Although, I'd say people see Legends as a step in the right direction for the franchise with Scarlet/Violet being a solid entry (despite being rough around the edges).

That tweet has to be the first time I've seen someone look at LG/PE favorably.

PL:A is my favorite of the Switch games, in part because I took some pleasure in sneaking up behind the little bastards and getting the jump on them. SV is a Master's Class in how technical issues can bring down the experience because because it exceeded my expectations when it came to story and character. Never in my over-twenty years of playing Pokemon did I ever to see a game deal with issues like bullying and parental abandonment. It's hard for me not to feel for the Team Star leaders and Arven given their backstories, and the climax of the final campaign was truly one of the most gripping for me. Plus, with there is still an air of mystery surrounding Area Zero as I suspect that the DLC will delve into it and introduce the third legendary hinted at in the journals.

Not that I want to absolve Game Freak of any blame, but I also get the sense that Nintendo was pushing for a holiday release to maximize sales. Granted, it worked as it was the fastest selling release, but the the series' reputation as a result. It still amazes me that there was a only a ten-month gap between PL:A and SV, and it's clear that the latter was released in an unfinished state. Three years should ample time to develop a game and DLC as a de facto "third version". I don't see any reason why there should not by a "gap year" because absence does make the heart grow fonder, after all.

LG/PE comes across as Pokemon for beginners and my impression was that it was more for Pokemon Go players than longtime fans so I skipped it. SWSH were only okay and BDSP were easily the worst remakes that didn't need to happen.

I think the general consensus has largely been that PL:A is the greatest Pokémon game on switch, and SV has the greatest mainline game on switch buried somewhere within it.

LGPE<GO<BDSP<SWSH<PL:A<SV

Imo, mostly based on playtime. I definitely play BDSP more than SWSH, but they're disappointing remakes, so SWSH edges it out a bit. Let's GO is at the bottom primarily because we didn't need a second Gen 1 remake when we were only up to Gen 4 in that department. We also got the Gen 1 VC games during Sun/Moon. Maybe if it was around the time of the Gen 6 remakes it would feel less superfluous.

PL:A is the better game in terms of performance and catch mechanics, but the weird battle system, lack of breeding, and lack of a proper battle stadium are a bit of turn offs to me. If there was a proper battle stadium, I'd definitely be more comfortable with the weird battle system as I'd have more reason to learn the intricacies of it.

Celebi Update: Still looking. Eventually.

Creation Trio: Dialga has his Royal Gorgeous Ribbon, Palkia and Giratina still need it. Still need the Shining/Brilliant ribbon for everyone, but I'm at 16 Champion stickers and now only losing the Master Rank by a hair because of the "visual" category. I've got the Elite 4 + Cynthia down to a science, it's just such a slog. Each run takes 15-20 minutes and only nets 113k money and 1 sticker, so doing several back to back is monotonous as fuck. 5 ribbons in total left, then they can go pick up their Champion Ribbons in SWSH and wait for SV. It's going to be interesting trying to slot them in with all my more unorthodox battlemons.
----

Got around to playing with my SV battle box for a while. One loosely constructed "team" (I just grab 6 random mons and wing it) actually surprised me. Muk, Glimmora, Salamence, Tyranitar, Vaporeon, Klefki.

Matches are 4v4, so after a few goes I found the later 4 had the best synergy. Tyranitar (Assault Vest) and Salamence (Boots) have a more defensive spread, but their bulk actually catches people off guard quite frequently. I found leading with these two tends to help put a sizable dent into things, and because of their bulk, often get rid of the more dangerous meta threats that lead. Ttar obviously tries to EQ everything until Mence is down thanks to his immunity, and Mence is often bulky enough to survive a hit, DDance, and get 1 drop or meaty hit in. Ttar usually hangs on for 3 turns, and for some reason a ton of people think Ttars are Choice'd, so pivoting to other attacks often leads to surprise KO's while she's out. I should probably opt for a different item for Mence, since I primarily use him as a lead, making Boots pretty useless.

Once those two have done their jobs, out come Klefki and Vaporeon (Dragon Tera). This combo is insane in terms of how hard they call wall you or just needle you to death.

Klefki has Prankster and is a screen setter, but also runs Recycle (Sitrus) and Flash Cannon

Vaporeon runs Aqua Ring (+Leftovers) Surf, Blizzard, and Acid Armor.

Set screens, get AR and at least 2 stacks of AA. As long as the opponent doesn't have a decent Special attacker anymore, they're in for a long and torturous death.

Klefki is just bulky enough to make Recycling Sitrus Berries a viable health source, and Flash Cannon can drop Sp.Def. Surf also barely does damage to it.

With Vaporeon, after 2/3 Acid Armors + Reflect, barring 3 lucky crits in a row, a Physical attacker just can't fucking do a thing to this little monster. Its natural Sp.Def + Light Screen is also quite notable as well, making it fairly tanky on that side of the spectrum. It's not much for outright damage, but considering how damn near unkillable you can make it fairly quickly, it hardly matters. Blizzard is also good for avoiding the need to hurt Klefki while fishing for a freeze. Dragon Tera is for the sake of covering weaknesses only.

VapKi is a hard counter to TatsuDondozo already, but I may swap Glimmora for Murkrow. I'm not finding much use in entry hazards or Sludge Wave, and Haze/Perish Song would probably be much more useful for getting rid of this particularly irritating threat and Tailwind would probably benefit me more overall. My teams definitely not fast, but a Tailwind against a team without would probably be just enough for an edge.

While playing ORAS, training up my Anorith for victory road and the E4, i noticed cacturne and anorith fighting side by side in a double battle looked pretty intimidating.

I made up the idea of a Creeplocke challenge. It's running the same ruleset as a hardcore nuzlocke challenge, but you can only use pokemon that are more on the creepy side (Mr. Mime, Pinsir) and/or have some disturbing backstory ingame or irl (Hypno, Porygon)
I made up a possible list of viable encounters while grinding,

Raticate
Beedrill
Primeape
Parasect
Clefable (it's not creepy but there is the creepypasta that Gengar is a dead Clefable)
Alakazam
Victreebel
Hypno
Dugtrio
Exeggutor
Pinsir
Mr. Mime
Jynx
Hitmonlee
Slowbro
Gengar
Golbat
Marowak
Kangashkhan
Weezing
Muk
Tangela
Electrode
Magneton
Kabutops
Aerodactyl
Omastar
Tentacruel
Porygon

Noctowl
Ariados
Ursaring
Unown
Wobbuffett
Xatu
Umbreon
Murkrow
Houndoom
Magcargo
Smeargle
Gligar
Misdreavus
Slowking
Girafarig

Shiftry
Mightyena
Beautifly (look at its pokedex entry)
Exploud
Cacturne
Crawdaunt
Absol
Shedinja
Banette
Dusclops
Sableye
Nosepass
Glalie
Mawile
Armaldo
Cradily
Metagross
Relicanth
Gorebyss
Huntail
Salamence
Lunatone
Whiscash (cuz of the episode that was banned)
Groudon (you are allowed to use a legendary in ruby because Drought.mp3 is so creepy it breaks the rules)

Opinions on this kind of challenge?

This Greninja Tera Raid event is driving me nuts. I keep trying to use Slowbro, but I either get critted by Night Slash or the game just decides it doesn't want to move.
