Honorable mention to Larry's Staraptor, because that shit will take people by surprise, especially if you were stalling with paralysis or someshit just to style on him.

Otherwise, it is disappointing that none of the other gym teams have Tera appropriate pokemons.
Most of them were themed alright: Toxtricity for Rhyme because she's a musician, Sudowoodo for the Grass leader, Teddiursa for the Bug leader because she's a baker and it's paws are said to smell of honey.

My biggest Tera disappointment was on the Champion Nemona battle, where she Teras her starter as it's core type instead of its secondary. It would have been a nice play on the fact that the rival takes the starter Pokemon that's weak to you since Gen 5, and would have screwed me since we were both down to just our starters during that fight.

i am convinced that in scarlet and violet, if you want a shiny, all you have to do is believe hard enough and meander the area your desired pokemon spawns in long enough, and eventually, it will appear. that's how i found my shiny sinistea, and it's how i just found my shiny smoliv. i kinda low-key wanted a shiny smoliv because tbh that evolutionary line has kinda grown on me. also it's a weird typing with grass/normal, so that's a thing. thank fuck shiny smoliv is pretty easy to spot, because unlike normal smoliv's yellow olive, shiny smoliv's olive is black (also it has a different shade of green but no1curr).

so of course it's a male.

arboliva is the most masculine thing i have ever seen.

I know what you mean but isn't this how shinies have always worked?

The thing is that, in recent games, you can probably get several shiny Pokémon simply because you just ate a grape. Gone is the necessity of using special methods per those a few generations ago, or just giving up er the beginning.

I fucking wish. Trying to breed a Shiny Fuecoco, using Masuda and a Shiny Charm, if nothing else I’m flooding the Mystery Trades with cast offs. Also learned that there’s an actual Trade Code dedicated solely to trading for foreign Ditto’s.

Speaking of cast offs, some random Mystery Gift codes dropped. None are good, but they’re there.

lol fuck breeding for shinies. if I can't get a shiny in the wild, fuck it.

yeah, two days ago I was doing some surprise trading and I ended up with a shiny ditto with perfect IVs from italy with the name zacian.net, so that's a thing. shame it'll just rot in my box because I can't be fucked to breed.

Got myself Omega Ruby yesterday, started a hardcore nuzlocke.
Just made it through petalburg woods.

My team consists of
Mudkip Lv. 10
Zigzagoon Lv. 8
Poochyena (with Fire Fang) Lv. 8
Silcoon Lv. 7
Taillow Lv. 7
Slakoth Lv. 7

0 Deaths but i nearly lost Zigzagoon to a wild Surskits Fell Stinger.

Currently building competitive level Pokémon I've come to a realization, paldea basically suffers from the sinnoh problem. Sinnoh had almost no fire types that were viable for anything and your starter was the best fire type in the game pre end game content.

Paldea has the same problem but with electric types. Basically most the electric types in the game aside from miraidon are hot garbage. Pawmot has some notoriety in terms of use but mainly due to revival blessing, not because its particularly a great electric type. I raised a couple pawmots and currently working on a bellibolt but that's about the best the game offers before Pokémon home integration.

inb4 muh cope about Paldea being based off Spain, which is a desert. Therefore, Paldea is not allowed to have good Electric-Types, because Electric is weak to Ground

Thanks to the miracle of Tera, you can just make your own electric types

I'll never understand why they even bother with codes like this. The gift is so minimal that your time is better spent just doing a single raid for roughly the same amount of total money. I haven't even claimed the "starter pack" for the same reason, a couple of nuggets and a rare candy just ain't worth the hassle.

On a side note, since I haven't seen it mentioned, we're supposed to be getting a patch sometime in February. Probably just a performance patch, but given it's been a few months now, I won't be surprised if they sneak in some new hints for the DLC.

I haven’t paid attention to any leaks post launch, but considering the reward for catching 400 Pokémon is a Beast Ball - which are only good on Ultra Beasts - we already have one tease.

The other was during the Dex Leak, where we got teased with Ancient Suicune and Future Muskateer Pokémon I legitimately don’t remember, wouldn’t be too surprised if their entire trio’s were given love

That's not the Sinnoh problem.
The sinnoh problem isn't when building a monotype team would suck ass, it's when you literally can't build a monotype team at all and your fire-type elite four member has to use Steelix, Drifblim and Lopunny.

Yeah, it definitely seems Ultra Beasts aren't very far off. This article is talking about how the code for the UB's has been changed in S/V. They're now "sub legendary" in the code apparently. I wonder if that means we'll be able to breed them, doubtful, but still. They definitely wouldn't bother making that adjustment if they don't eventually intend on releasing them to S/V.

I never understood classifying them as legendaries to begin with, they're pretty much just Paradox Pokemon before they were a thing. Looking at their BST's (all 570), I have a feeling GameFreak feels the same way. To me a "legendary" should have 600+ bst, or lacking that, a decent lore reason as to why there is only one in game beyond "um well space portals".

Most legendaries are a "deity" or some being relating to mysticism in some way, while things like Paradox and UB's are, while "exotic and rare" to the setting of the game, literally just bog standard common Pokemon in their respective time/dimension.

Retarded faggots who like to suck Game Freak's cock like to give the argument of Sinnoh's climate being too cold to support any Fire-Types, outside of Ponyta and Chimchar. Like it excuses the horseshit Pokemon distribution of Diamond and Pearl

Hoenn has too much water for ice types to deal with.

Update on my challenge
I got to dewford town, caught my two available fishing encounters and a Geodude from Granite cave and yet have to beat the regular Gym trainers and Brawly,

My current team
Poochyena Lv. 11
Slakoth Lv. 11
Beautifly Lv. 12
Taillow Lv. 13
Zigzagoon Lv. 14
Mudkip Lv. 15

I have to evolve Mudkip and train up Beautifly and Taillow to the Level cap, this game is easy af but the Makuhita with Knock off is not too shabby.
Super Training is banned as a self-imposed rule and I'm trying to beat the game deathless, not a reset if someone dies tho.

Are you playing with any level caps in mind or just whatever you can't be bothered to grind for?

After seeing a vide on the guy who leaked Halo 4, I realised that my hack could be trouble the same way. Though many, many hacks are still shown freely, there have been a few that were subjected to takedowns. That is the reason why the new Pokémon Crystal Clear had to be in hiding.

I am worried that my project is going to be the same way. If anything, I am also worried that others would use the DMCAD of my project in yet another attack against Null. After all, if they canno take dow Null on 'Terfascism' charges, they could take down him on piracy charges, even if I just upload a patch.

I have no lack of original ideas; I am jus that big a fan of Pokémon. Th is a labour of love, not spite.

EDIT: the video
