Didnt they tease this years ago? The anime stopped being any good around diamond and pearl. They spent way too much time around the starting areas versus making new areas up and going forward and away from pallet town in the previous seasons. The orange league and Johto's exploration made things way more interesting than anything that happened in the actual games. Its another reason why I disdain the uninspired remakes of Kanto every few years. They never consider these locations. EVER. Even in the day and age of post launch support and paid DLC.

The battle frontier seasons also brought up a ton of areas that are not even in Emerald's battle frontier.

Would like to see some of these anime only places be added as DLC into the actual main games someday. Its was nice to see the sinjoh ruins in HG/SS and a missed opportunity they werent even mentioned in PLA.

Gen 6 and Gen 8 anime were actually good though. Also, would the Sevii Islands count like the Orange Islands in some fashion?

The orange islands were different but the Sevii islands were a decent enough substitute. IIRC the orange league had its own proto battle frontier and had the kanto bird trio along with Lugia there in one of the movies.

They did incorporate the GS ball storyline into Firered/Leafgreen. Looking back it was probably just a tease for gold and silver since its literally called the "gold silver ball" in japanese so the storyline was never really "dropped". Gold and silver just eventually released.

I read/watched somewhere that the GS ball was supposed to be way more important to the plot in Johto and was supposed to contain Celebi. Because the corporate heads wanted Celebi to be the main focus of the 4th Pokemon movie the anime plotline was scrapped and the GS ball was never mentioned again.

I don't watch the anime, but if they're finally letting Ash's journey come to an end, it's about damn time. Dudes been 10 years old for nearly 30 years and finally became a champion. We've had more than enough time with him. Let the lil nigga age and move on already, they already did it with Blue and Red.

As expected, my shiny cat team gets whooped pretty often in casual online battles (can't do ranked until I swap out Perserker for Espeon), but words can't describe how satisfying it is when I force a metafag to rage quit because of how unconventional my team is.
You don't exactly go into online battles expecting something like a HP/SPE Scarf Zangoose (it's a cat ferret, apparently) dropping your uber with Final Gambit or a Switcheroo Persian stealing your Focus Sash for a T.Orb then T.Waving your other Pokemon or snuffing out your weather while a Normal Tera Guts Luxray with some bulk investment drops a Facade nuke on you.

I liked the evolutions series they did a year ago but I still cant get over them reusing the same voice actor for Nepgear who uses the same tone and pitch of her voice for Green.

Also I am sick of hearing about sword and shield. that game is the fucking worst and makes me appreciate sun and moon even with its flaws more by the day. It didn't look like a unity asset flip and didn't have any massive glitches or empty areas as that game had. Iwata's passing really does show how much he carried the company.

He mentioned Primeape and Squirtle recently, saying that he can go get them whenever he wants but chooses not to, so that they can continue training in what they like to do.
 
I know that its glowing moss, but why is there a shit ton of Tiberium all over the walls and floor of the houndoom cave in Scarlet/Violet? It has the same color palette and everything. Is the brotherhood of nod the real evil team in this one with the box legendaries being escaped bioweapon experiments?

I mean, it's just glowing moss, mate. it might be affected by the Terastalisation phenomenon, but more realistically it's there to justify relatively decent lighting in caves without torches and the like.

You say "same colour palette" but that colour palette is... a variety of bright to forest greens. exactly what you'd expect from glowing plants.

It's also prominent in each of the Herba Mystica caves.

I do, I hardly play it anymore though because I can't find a good guild and I'm more of a PvP-appreciating person when it comes to MMOs and not many of the other activities after you complete the 4 regions are compelling, plus I imagine after they implement gen 2 they're gonna be done with development. Also because I bred a shiny Rampardos with near perfect competitive stats, but because I bred it with too many shinies from other trainers, shiny hunter faggots always flood my DMs with "you just bought that off the market."

Congrats on the green fella though
