Kaphotics just tweeted out another breakdown on how rampant cheating is in sanctioned VGC tournaments, this time it’s about Worlds competitors and the teams they ran.

Part of the reason why Mega Stones were tied to hold items was to prevent overpowered and/or broken Mega Evo/held item combos from becoming a thing, if you want an example of how that would work just look at Mega Rayquaza.
That's it. I'm drawing my own VMAX cards. Clearly they don't give a shit.

Then use Gengar, you friendless cuck. Not Haunter
"B-b-b-but I-I-I like Haunter's d-design bette-"
Don't care. Have sex and evolve your Haunter
I'm not sure participating in high level play in Pokémon is conducive to getting a sexual partner. However, I agree that I don't understand the hesitance to evolve just that one Pokémon. Gengar is much better on every level, even with Eviolite.

What about stuff like these?
Fairy Blissey
Steel Hydreigon
Steel Shuckle
Electric Shedinja
Ghost Tyranitar (this was in the video!)
Ground Gyarados
Dark Gengar
Steel Dragonite
Flying Magnezone

Seriously, @Unyielding Stupidity , if you think it's only going to be used to boost STAB you're...well, I won't belabor the point...

The possibilities are endless, and I'm starting to actually like this Tera shit.

The thing about Terastralizing is that they haven't shown how long it'll last or how many times it can be used in battle, nor have these mechanics leaked. If it's once per battle like Z-Moves and Dynamax, it's a hard sell to use it on a defensive Pokemon rather than wall breaking with it. One of the down sides to Dynamax is that there really wasn't a way to use it defensively since all support moves became Max Guard outside of responding to your opponent's Dynamax or procing Weakness Policy and certain abilities like Steam Engine. Terastralizing already seems better for this since you can abuse an immunity, but if it's once per game it'll be a similar situation like they showed with Water Coalossal in the trailer.

To be fair, they did not want to risk another Chansey or Dusclops situation.
That was a concern in Gen 5 and 6, where apparently Magenton was even really good, but with the power creep something like Eviolite Mawile or Kangaskhan wouldn't be that bad. Eviolite is inherently vulnerable to Knock Off anyway and their stats aren't that good to begin with. Luckily GameFreak does seem to be opening up to to evolutions with Wyrdeer and Ursaluna, and the leaks say that Girafigig, Dunsparce, Bisharp, and Primape will get new evos outright in SV. Eviolite Bisharp might be really good, and the leaks also show Ursaluna being available so I can try my Eviolite Ursaring strats. It'll suck, but it'll be fun.

>faggot stripe pokemon
That creature looks like it crawled out of the animal control threads. Even has troon colored hands too.

Why could they have not just given smeargle a new form? It hasn't seen much attention since the whole artist gallery thing in hoenn and does essentially the same things with paint.
How dare you! Grafaiai does graffiti. Smeargle is a painter. Comparing their styles is like comparing apples to oranges.

For real though, I like it. I'm into the idea of there being art based pokemon that differ in styles.
