No, I just find it sad that people will just sit and cry that this game isnt what they want every single year. Its been happening since gen 2 almost the same critiques since gen 6. How many times do they need to blatantly ignore you (and still rake in shit loads of money) before you get the hint that youre probably never gonna get whatever game youre looking for.
What the fuck are you talking about? You sound like you've got this grudge over people criticizing pokemon. I haven't expected shit nor bought any pokemon game in years. I saw news about pokemon, wanted to talk about it, and came to the pokemon thread. It's that simple.

Aren't you same person who's getting upset that this "children's toy" isn't the way you want it?
Yes. It's not that it's not what I want, direction isn't the issue. It's the blatant lack of care that goes into, it's just sad to watch something with potential get run through the mud.

The only grudge I will every have about people and pokemon is that Gen 5 sold poorly. But thats a cry post for the other day.
The point is you saw the news and decided to come into the thread to have a cry about it. Youre not the only one who does it, you wont be the last. Again I say to you, maybe its just time to face the music and realize they are never gonna make the pokemon game you want. How many times do you think people need to hear the same cry posts over and over again? You dont think the people in this thread already dont know every single problem with the pokemon games? Do you think youre some guru who is the only person who has every played another monster collecting game? Like bro, we know, we have seen the cry posts, we have all made the same cry posts before. We have seen the distant kingdom(pedophile) memes.

I explained it to you. I saw something I wanted to talk about, I came to post my opinions. I don't know why that's upsetting you so much. Do you just want a hugbox where only positive posts are allowed?

Youre the one that got mad when you seemed to assume I was directly mocking you about a need for triple ayy graphics or what you expect from a pokemon game. Am I not allowed to express my opinion in mocking opinions? do you just want a safe space where everyone agrees with you? You know I'm allowed to say that your critique is generic and akin to those essayist youtubers that believe their opinions are revelation. What youre doing is akin to going into a dsp thread and saying "hey guys, I dont think phil is a very good person." If you cant identify with that, then I guess we will just never come to consensus.

Maybe the next attempt at this will be better.
Holy shit dude quit huffing the copium. For someone experienced with the disappointing state the series has been you somehow have a shred of faith that Gen 9 is gonna be "better." People have been any waiting for this series to get better since gen 6, it's not happening no matter how much you or everyone else keep complaining about the quality.

I'm Sorry to rant on you but I just don't wanna hear any complaining in these threads anymore. I just wanna talk about the new dang game man. Alpha Pokemon are a fun challenge. I like how they can one-shot my level 30 team as I struggle to capture them. I like how you can stun a wild Pokemon, run up behind then, and instantly capture them with a PokeBall. I like the resource gathering and instant crafting. I like how I don't have to run back and stock up on supplies from the PokeMart anymore, I can craft the stuff I need instead. I like how sometimes wild pokemon will 2 v 1 you during a battle. I like how all the villagers in Jubilife are all individually named and will have a side quest for you every so often.

I thought I was done with this series after how much of an embarrassment swish was, but I ran into a leaked copy of legends by total accident and gave it a try, mostly just to rage at it for an hour or two, but somehow it's won me over. I've already put 11 hours into it and a good deal of that's just been running around catching pokemon and generally playing the game the way I want to, instead of being railroaded into boring dialogue after boring setpiece after boring dialogue. It's still there, this is pokemon after all, but the amount of restraint it's shown considering the past decade or so has been shocking. It's also on the easier side, as the newer games usually are, but whatever. I've played those rom hacks that want you to puzzle out exactly what team composition, movepools, and EV spreads you need to grind up to progress through one boss fight and they're fucking miserable. I'll take slightly-too-easy every time if it means I can just use mostly whatever pokemon I want to. Maybe I'll sour on it when there's no great challenging postgame content or the new way damage seems to calculate ends up being badly balanced, but really, gamefreak experimenting at all with the formula and not totally shitting the bed is worth celebrating in and of itself, and the changes here are very much worthwhile. It even runs better than swish did, so far.

What's the time to teddiursa.

personally I just think they should just make a stadium 3 and have that be a live service game compatible with home that can be the hub of the meta and possibly free up mainline to balance more shit to not be worried about handling that along with casual multiplayer and single player. but since TPC hates money I don't think that will happen.
So, I might or might have to eat my words about a "New Pokemon Stadium" come Pokemon day

Some /vp/ post talked about this subdomain register in a thread I was lurking

Reddit shit
again take website registration with a grain of salt since websites urls go abandoned all the time but considering this apparently happened with legends I personally find it pretty likely
With Showdown's success my only question if this is real is why didn't they do this sooner?
if this shit is a thing, after New Pokemon Snap I would love bandai namco to have a track on this. They really hit it out of the park visually with that and pokken at capturing a style and they seem to have a solid relationship with Nintendo/Game Freak, plus since it would just be Comp autism mode they could put alot of that in since all they would have to model is much less than a full game.

Wouldn't be opposed to the idea, but this is probably a Nintendo Switch Online thing for the originals.
I mean I could see N64 online adding anything to fill out it's small roster, but unless there is a gameboy transfer feature I think alot of the stadium games' charm would be lost by just having rental pokemon. at least it's mini games would still be there though

Its funny how all these "hisuan" pokemon went extinct over the course of several hundred years. Normally it takes place over millions.
Uh... bro? Hate to break it to you but species go extinct like every couple year. Not even to mention things like Tasmanian tigers, cave bears, thunder birds etc
