she (assuming it's female)
I've been infected with the anime gay for so long that I'm literally going to assume that's just an okama or a crossdressing genie much like Birdo until confirmed otherwise. It's like if Lawrence III from Pokémon 2000 put on a snake boa and lipstick, then stole Cipher Venus' haircut actually the crescent moon isn't even hair, but whatever.

For the most part, I'm willing to wait to see these things in motion, but they're going to be fighting uphill to pull these off.

For example, here's Magikarp and Lando's model rendered in the same style as the other images we're looking at:

Those lips are the stuff of nightmares.

1: Samurott looks good, can't read shit from Decidueye, Typhlosion is one of the biggest examples of looking bad without it's animations, as we can't see how the fire looks.

2: Nu-Weavile Sneasler I'll need to see in motion. I'll be so depressed if being in motion doesn't save it, though.

3: Hisuian Lilligant... I can't be the only one who thinks this looks a little like a digimon, can I? All in all, it's decent, but nothing to write home about.

4: H-Ursa Ursaluna looks a little silly, but I could see this as very scary in motion, barreling at you on all fours. Also, apparently it's forehead and eyebrows are meant to resemble images like this:

5: Goodra is at a terrible angle, I can't make heads or tails of it. It looks really unbalanced, though.

6: H-Qwilfish is basically what I expected. Qwilfish Evo Overqwil is... I don't know what I expected.

7: Teal Basculin and Basculegion are unironically the first versions I'd consider adding to a team.

8: H-Electrode is another in the "I don't know what I expected" pile.

9: I think Avalugg's side-face-things are effectively mandible-like Tusks. A little touch of ol' shoveljaw Ukanlos. Could actually look good.

10: Arcanine is okay. Nothing all that world-shaking though.

11: Apparently, the new Jinn is meant to round out their Incarnates with a Turtle, to match their Dragon, Tiger, and Bird of the four cardinal directions. The turtle in particular is portrayed in china as being entwined with a serpent, justifying the literal boa. It's named fucking Enamorus, though, and there's no way to see that as good in my eyes.

12: These two are clearly meant to be in-betweens of Arceus and Dialga/Palkia. You can particularly see this in the midriff rings; If you combine Dialga and Palkia's rings, you'd be pretty close to Arceus'. I'm really hoping they look better in motion, though.

Edit: Bruh, Evolution goes hard.

TFW these guys are suposed to be some weird demierge shit caused by the clan's worship or something
We Megami Tensei now

Apparently there's a few new statuses and weather effects. Some seem to act as replacements for mechanics that aren't in the game, such as held items and abilities.

Frostbite acts as a special-aligned burn, dealing periodic damage and lowering special attack.

Fixated causes the pokemon to focus on it's last move, making it more powerful but themselves more exposed.

Obscured causes the pokemon to be hidden by mud, increasing it's evasion.

Primed is just a straight damage buff.

Drowsy makes a pokemon have a chance to skip their turn, and increases their damage taken.

There's also apparently "Wild Might", "Terrific Might" and "Terrible Might", which are read as statuses by the person I got this from but read as boss statuses to me.

Strong Sunlight now gives the chlorophyll effect to all grass-types.

Snow (not hail) increases the damage from frostbite, makes Drowsy pokemon less likely to act, and makes ice-types move faster.

Game's gonna be a top seller even with the lazy recolors and obvious bugs. I hate Gamefreak. And I hate myself because I'm probably going to buy this anyways.
