Picked Shining Pearl back up after, what, a week or so, so I can fight Mars, and I checked out my box to see Jirachi and Mew have different levels. I don't know if this is fixed or not to have a Jirachi at level 5 and Mew at level 1, but the difference in levels is weird to me. Is this the same for everyone else?
Yes it’s the same for everyone, that’s just how they did it.

I just don't get why they keep trying to do stuff other than mega-evolution. There is nothing cooler then having your Pokémon go super-Saiyan. For developers that love doing the same game over and over, I don't understand why they don't just make twenty mega-evolutions with every new game.

I only hope that for the inevitable Gen 9, that they don’t abandon the Wild Area. It was probably the best part of Sword and Shield - low bar, I know - but if they were to expand on that it’d at least be something fresh. Hell, I’d even take the routes just being Mini Wild Areas, if only to get away from them all being glorified Hallways.

Considering Legends looks to be “All Wild Area”, here’s still hoping it doesn’t suck…

The Crown Tundra and Isle of Armor were both just big Wild Areas themselves, and the BDSP Grand Underground gives me Wild Area vibes but without co-op raids. Gen 9 will have something akin to the Wild Area where you can just hang out and 90% of the game's Pokemon spawn, but my biggest fear is that they abandon co-op gameplay. Chilling on Discord and hunting good raids was the best part of Sword and Shield for me and having the 4v1 co-op gameplay gave great use for support sets like Lightning Rod and Life Dew.

And thus, Pokemon Evolutions is over:

>sees Mewtwo
>squee and play
>see Blue
>squee some more
>finally my girl gets her time in the sun
>realize it's LGE/P
>sad now
>least animation is nice

Evolutions had some nice moments, but it just feels like they're not even trying to fill in some of the gaps in the games' stories. The only ones I liked were episodes 2 and 7 but that's more-or-less out of personal preference since I like those characters they focused on in those episodes. Episode 4 was close, but it's like we've gotten N and Ghetsis' story so many times that I just don't care anymore to see it, even epically animated like it was.

Yeah, guess a 6-outta-10 overall.

EDIT: lol

So as some of you might be aware, BDSP had yet another update to remove glitches. No new content, no nice stuff, just remove item duping, cloning out of bounds exploits etc.

Immediately after release people realized the out of bounds glitch still worked.

And then menu glitch was basically rediscovered despite it being (((patched out)))

The war continues as ILCA and the Pokémon Company struggle with people playing a kids monster fighting game how they choose. Will our entripid protagonists continue to be able to glitch the game or Will the Pokémon Company finally be able to code a functional game system with no flaws?

Has anyone noticed that a lot of plant type pokemon are like, oddly sexy? Like they always have the fuck me eyes and the such.

Is it possible to catch Shaymin via the out-of-bounds glitch?

You’re telling me you noticed the waifumons but only the plant ones?

I don’t know why Lopunny exists other than to be furry bait, there’s no gimmick to the design than being a cute bipedal rabbit girl (let me guess, it’s been a while, is it actually one of those 50% species?). The cry even sounds like a wolf-whistle.
