I beat the game a couple days ago and now I have to go through the tedious process of the Battle Tower with BP and getting the braces and choice items.

I'm holding out until there's HOME compatibility, once that happens you should be able to transfer any stored BP to your remake of choice.

Also, the only Brace item I'm seeing in BDSP (unless you're referring to the Power Items) is the Macho Brace and that's still available in Pastoria City's Poke Mart via showing an NPC Burmy's three forms or a male and female Combee. Either way getting either of those items appears to be pointless, it seems that EV training and IV breeding still retain the changes made in SWSH and older Generations.

Again if there is no gap years the games will just get more and more glitchier, I know pumping shit out annually makes money in the short term but this sort of crap builds up over time and before you know it you become sonic team.
The only studio who does annual shit right without being a dumpsterfire is RGG and even then they took abit of a break between the PS2 games and Kenzan/3

They don't, TPC just has dirt on him regarding vidya piracy (remember that the "no EXP for the first rival matches in BW" thing he initially reported on was actually an anti-piracy measure).

To be fair, when the modernization of the world results in you losing your greatest form resistance against ground types, I'd invite a little nihilism into my life too.

Well, about a month ago, I felt like purchasing some fan games at a convention. Haven’t really made it very far due to various crashing, glitches, cutscenes not loading.

This is exactly why I don’t do shit like Raspberry Pi and would rather Champion the official releases and things like Arcade 1Ups.

Trying to ask Santa for an Arcade too. But doubt that can fit down my chimney.
 
I'm assuming that from now on, any future remakes will only include the number of Pokemon that were available at the time of the originals release (i.e - the eventual Gen 5 remakes will only have 649 Pokemon). As gen 4 and gen 3 are my favourite generations, I perhaps had too high expectations for Shining Pearl.

The underground's fun. I've got a few Pokemon I was never able to catch in the original games. I was hoping though, that they would incorporate some Platinum content, so I could get a Togepi egg from Cynthia. Also, it seems odd to me that the remakes wouldn't feature some of the gimmicks for this generation (dynamax).

They just grew up over time. They lose the optimism as they slowly lost the innocence they once had as wooden balls.

Very deep, most likely unintended message about how growing up makes you a unhappy asshole, all thanks to pokemon.

also love that this game is bringing back sad pokedex entries, some of this shit like hisisan zorua is pretty fucked up
