It's a sick joke that the Electric-type gym leader and Fire-type Elite Four members have teams where half or more their members are not of their respective specialties. At least give the fans the Platinum Dex. I'm guessing that there isn't even a postgame and at least ORAS gave us the Delta Episode.

The only new postgame added to the remakes is yet another legendary hunt where you have to waste a bunch of time in the Underground in order to find the slates that make the legendaries spawn. Oh, and those Gym Leader/Elite Four rematches.
Anyway, the game still isn’t truly finished despite the “day -8 patch.” They still have to patch in the ability to have more than 2 people in the Union Room, and support for Pokémon Home isn’t coming until February. Apparently there was also a glitch where Heatran wouldn’t despawn after you catch it, so you could catch an infinite amount.

Well holy shit! I was really wanted to try and get into the little cup format with this game but the whole thing is just a mess.

Honestly, could've just cobbled Platinum and Gen 5 together with an arranged soundtrack, and I would have eaten it up.

Love Gen 4 to the grave, but the only thing that catches me so far are those rematches.

I don’t hate the finished soundtrack but I tend to prefer the original versions of the tracks in most cases. Same applies to the ORAS music.

I will say this, it's probably the most effort a legendary hunt has had since bw2 by actually giving legendries unique battle backgrounds in stuff, still burned out of hunting the same legendary Pokémon all the time where they are more common than regular mons at this point

Game is a cash grab for arceus, probably just began when arceus got experimental, doesn't matter since arceus will also suck a nut. Hopefully in like a decade or two fans will mod the platinum content into DBSP

I think people are already trying to natively port BDSP to PC since it’s made in Unity. Adding the Battle Frontier/Villa/actual Distortion World/new graphics is only a matter of time.

That or remaining faithful to the originals was more of a detriment to the game's development than expected.

I'm still holding out hope for PL:A. It was the more interesting of the two games anyway.

we'll see, probably will be the first Pokémon game I buy new since the 3ds, looks interesting and I cant wait to explore ancient sinnoh, but for a world that massive even as big as a monhun area you need fun movement and I don't know if game freak is up to the task on that front.

I have a low bar for Pokemon games personally. If I have fun I consider it a win. Because really that's the only metric that matters to me. Game reviewers can suck a fat one.

The one thing I am annoyed about is that Eevee is post game in BDSP. Which is bonkers considering how popular that little fucker is. And my favorite Pokemon is an Eeveelution so I'm disappointed I won't be able to play with my favorite without having to find someone to trade with.
