It’s Scyther’s new ancient evolution, Kleavor.Reminds me of a mix between Kabutops, Scyther, and Alolan Golem.

In a similar vein to the extinct Pokemon variants, I feel that pushes further the idea of Hisuian final evolutions for the 3 starters. Rowlet's final evolution is Ghost type because it's based on an extinct species, so maybe it will be Grass/Flying or something different since in ancient Sinnoh it's not extinct yet.Wait a minute.
Crazy ass thought.
What if, hear me out, since these Pokémon are extinct, is Kabuto and Kabutops the ancestor to Scyther, and in a sort of Wooly Mammoth fashion ala Cleavor, those traits went into extinction?
Explanation: arcues just shat it into existence and all other attempts to replicate it are the Dex and the Nav systems. Attempts to recreate ancient more advanced technology from God.How are the people of Ancient Japan gonna explain this device?

It's better than the legendary dragon spam.It sucks that the typing for all these new pokemon keep overlapping.
To be fair to Kleavor, there are only two other rock/bug types with only one of those two having any combat potential (Dwebble and Crustle). Same could be said for Wyrdeer. The kino kleavor.

Not really. The only recent example would be Sword and Shield's (Mostly Calyrex), but I'd still argue there's some edge to them.'Legendary Pokemon' have certainly lost their edge in terms of appearances lol.
Im talking about braviary, and wydeer being psychicTo be fair to Kleavor, there are only two other rock/bug types with only one of those two having any combat potential (Dwebble and Crustle). Same could be said for Wyrdeer.
I mean, didn't the very first series have an episode where Ash and Co found the Gen 1 Fossil Pokemon all living in a cave underground? If they want to have the Ancient Pokemon appear in the anime, they could probably pull something believable enough out of their asses.Something just occurred to me mentally. So these new forms of pokemon.... None of them can appear in the anime unless they somehow do time travel shenanigans.
I can see them doing a separate special à la Mega Evolution where there'll be like four episodes or so for Legends. But to do time travel shenanigans, they'll have to bug Celebi for it, and why the hell would Celebi want to take someone to ancient Sinnoh unless it's to explain the Sinjoh Ruins? Dialga might have time-traveling abilities, too, but I don't know why anyone would try to bother with Dialga again after what happened with Cyrus.Something just occurred to me mentally. That actually happened towards the end of the Gen V anime.Something just occurred to me mentally. So these new forms of pokemon.... None of them can appear in the anime unless they somehow do time travel shenanigans.
...I cannot help but keep looking a that middle rock from Kleavor's head.
They did it before with Arceus after he went on a rampage, beat the meat off of his children so violently giratina is still probably in a coma. I think they went back in time to change history and help free the betrayed god. Then retroactively, Arceus remembers his past self being helped, so he relents.Something just occurred to me mentally. So these new forms of pokemon.... None of them can appear in the anime unless they somehow do time travel shenanigans.
It's been a while since Mega evolution dipped. So they're probably hoping that it means they'll make return in the main games I guess.Social Media just won’t stop hyping up Ash’s Mega Lucario.
Jeez, why wasn’t there a single rally call for this when Mega Evolution was actually new?
